I agree and disagree with the OP.

The OL injuries had a lot to do with where we are pure and simple. Last year we had almost no injuries on the OL and we scored 10 more ppg with the same cast of skill characters trade in Robinson for OBJ/Woods.

TE don't agree we can't have a superstar at every position no team does KC doesn't, SF, Philly, Dallas, Buff doesn't none do. BUs like every team are backups most aren't nobodies those nobodies contributed a TON in the Superbowl or did you forget that fact.

OLB totally disagree - Von again similar to TE can't have/afford three stars on a DL. Von was a luxury and we did really good without him. He didn't make his presence felt to the playoffs.

Tutu how do we know what we got without playing him same can be said for McCutchen.

The run game has been a problem and that has to do imo to not adequately replacing Whit. We all expected Noteboom with 3 years in house to be ready but he imo is marginal and should be our 6th man. We had the same problem when Saffold left.

Since McVay likes to call the plays I think his OC should be a run game specialist. Liam Coen seems to be a flop.

This season has hurt us with Robinson not balling out. Missing Von and others not progressing and mainly all the OL injuries.

As for the future we're getting continually healthier. Next week we could have Shelton, Edwards and Fuller all back that essentially is the entire team minus season IR OLmen.

Let's put Tutu in and see what he can do. Let's try Skura at LG, let's try out Williams. Change up the play calling with different formations different personnel groupings maybe more FB, jumbo packages, jet sweeps, screens, some deep shots with max protect.

I personally feel good about the next 10 games.

Rams43- Admire the hell out of you as a poster. You summed it up best when you said "Yeah, I’m angry, frustrated, and upset."
The Rams "All-in, F-them picks" worked wonders in bringing us a Lombardi. We have as many elite, high-priced and proven players on our roster as any in the NFL. The concern with the approach, aside from cap-management (Demoff is awesome here), is the increased need to hit on picks AND stay healthy.
Injuries have exposed our depth and in some key areas. No need to question or doubt every pick that doesn't work out- the NFL is FULL of them. From the outset, our roster wasn't constructed on tremendous depth at every position. Large investments were made at key positions, leaving fewer resources for the rest of the roster. Injuries bit us and in some cases, "misses" from prior drafts contributed to our lack of depth.
Oh, and parity. It's why I love the NFL.
I'm frustrated, too. But given our circumstances this year (i.e. injuries, Akers, etc.), let's not start eating the coaches/organization that provided us the ever-so-rare Lombardi that we get to enjoy just 8 months ago. They have a clue.
Dumb statement injues have exposed our depth really. You take any team in the league and don't put their 2nd string olmen in you put their 3rd string olinemen in and what will get the exact same shit we have. There is NO exposing our depth - 3 position in a row all IOL with a drop back non running QB. As k Tom Brady how he is doing ask the Bucs in general how they are doing they had 10 starters out 2 on the OL a bunch in the secondary, TE etc maybe that is why they are 3-5 just maybe.

BTW why don't you ask KC in the Superbowl where Mahomes was constantly running for his life against TB why because both star Tackles we're out. Now take those tackles done to #3 backups and throw another player say Center and make him a 3rd stringer Mahomes probably be in the hospital after that game.

It is not our 3rd string depth it is injuries to our starters.

Exactly. Like Bill Parcells said “There’s a reason they’re called backups”.

Exposed to injury?

The last thing teams want to be exposed to.
