Cap relief.Ok, I’m confused.
Or you could have cut him and replace with a better player.Cap relief.
Late round picks don't get big-$ but if they hit certain playing-time incentives, their contracts are adjusted and they have higher cap hits. This applied to Kendrick and Durant.
Kendrick's 2025 cap hit was going to be over $3M. By waiving Kendrick last week, the Rams got almost $3M of cap relief. Now they re-sign him for a much lower amount ... probably close to the League-minimum; and incur a much lower cap hit.

Which means he would be no lock to even make the team.Cap relief.

It's probably...those pictures.Or, cut him and don't replace him ... THAT would also be an up-grade in my opinion.
I don't know what the coaching staff sees in Kendrick.
We can only hope.Which means he would be no lock to even make the team.
Or perhaps BRILLIANT!!. Save $3.4 cap initially. Resign for vet min with little to no guaranteed $$. He makes the team they save over $2m. He gets cut costs them nothing.Fuckin stupid move
