This. What is the actual reason to not toss a deep bomb on 1st or 2nd down when the box is STACKED for an inside run? History tells you, Tutu can come up with those more often then not. Then, guess what, that safety is going to think twice about being up in the box for the rest of the game. Its a win win I'm just unsure why McVay would not agree with that.

That basically means the entire OL. Since Hav is old as hell and Jackson has this blood clot bs.

Feels like an OT and C at the least in the draft. OT should be up high, C by round 3 range give or take a round.

Also I want a CB up high, and a QBotF. First world probs though. :laugh1:

Next year OT/OC/CB/QB in no particular order. Through the Draft and/or FA.
 
They are going to have an interesting decision to make regarding paying BY if he keeps this up..

Avilla seems to get nicked up/ injured more than his fair share so far. Not a plus as a pro football plsyer.
 
I'm not thinking of grading the oline until week 4 at the earliest.

Also, seemed like Rams pass blocked better than run blocked in the game... makes me want to go back and watch again if I can. That's all PFF typically does for me, want me to go back and rewatch if it doesn't fit what I saw.

Have been thinking about this. I love the kid's energy and his play his rookie season... but he's not trending in a direction where I'd be in a hurry to re-sign him.

Its early yet but at this point I would be ok with whatever decision the FO made on re signing Avilla.
 
Hate to beat a dead horse, but, we certainly could have used that Kyren extension money on more important players (i.e. Young, Puka, Turner, Landman, etc.)

He hasn't been facing the best OTs but BY has definitely developed at a rate I did not see coming. He has definitely upgraded his pass rush arsenal and is a deadly threat with his elite athleticism now, which is awesome. He didn't win many 1 on 1s his first two years iirc most of his sacks were cleanup sacks.

Agree, BY was raw when we drafted him, pure speed guy without an NFL arsenal of moves. He gets better every season which is exactly what you want.
