  • TE Terrance Ferguson: 67.6
  • RB Kyren Williams: 66.2
  • RB Blake Corum: 62.4
  • LT Alaric Jackson: 62.0
  • C Coleman Shelton: 57.8
  • RG Justin Dedich: 54.2
  • TE Colby Parkinson: 52.5
  • TE Davis Allen: 44.1

defense

  • DT Poona Ford: 89.6
  • OLB Jared Verse: 80.0
  • DT Kobie Turner: 79.2
  • CB Josh Wallace: 75.4
  • LB Omar Speights: 70.2
  • OLB Byron Young: 60.7
  • CB Emmanuel Forbes Jr.: 52.3
  • LB Nate Landman: 47.0
  • DL Ty Hamilton: 37.2
  • S Kamren Kinchens: 29.3
  • DL Braden Fiske: 26.7

Seeing a trend with some of these players. Injuries and hitting the wall this time of year. If I didn't know better I would say Matthew and Puka's grades were a little low.

Would have thought Young would be lower. He did nothing in the game. Zero. Fiske looked injured and shouldn't have suited up. Verse with a 80 is shocking. Also didn't see much from him. Turner and Poona were impactful on the DL.

Lord do we miss Lake.

Verse. Poona, Turner & Wallace at the top makes perfect sense. They all 4 were great and very impactful.

I thought Verse was great in the run game. Many times he would almost get to the QB, Darnold would dump it off, and it was actually Verse making the tackle after sprinting back towards the Rams endzone. He did distrust a number of passes as well. He definitely has not been as good as last year, but there is still time for him to re-write that narrative. The games people are remembering him for were in the playoffs!

I actually thought Dedich played pretty well....anytime there was penetration on the right side I assumed it was him, but then in the replay a few times it was Shelton

The run game suffered shortly after Dedich entered the game I thought, but we werent running great before he came in either. I can't be certain how much of that was on him or if Seattle tightened up.
All in all he was pretty solid.

Fiske hasnt taken the leap most of us expected. Apparently injured? The rest have had their moments.

Still don't get why we don't use Ferguson more he's been very good out there lately.
An experienced vet quarterback knows what a receiver should do in his route. Like knowing when to settle in a spot to take a pass or break a certain way. But rookies don't always know what the quarterback is expecting. My guess is the rapport Stafford has with Ferguson still needs more time. It does seem to be better than a month ago.

I'm not sure Fiske is who we were expecting him to be, injured or not. High motor guy, but undersized with short arms. He's always going to struggle against the run, and he's an above average pass rusher at best. He'll be a decent player for a second round pick, but not much more.

What does this mean? Are you projecting an average starter, below average starter, or above average starter?

For those who say he's been injured all year, how do we know this? I hadn't heard about that.

He suffered a knee injury in the divisional round loss to the eagles last January. All I know is it required a "minor surgery". He was apparently healed up in time for OTAs.
Then Fiske was listed with an oblique injury week 2.
10 days ago his ankle was stepped on vs the Lions and he was noticeably limping afterwards, then was listed as doubtful to play the Seahawks on a short week but ended up playing anyways.

Fiske managed to flash and show up and he regularly made an impact as a rookie.
IDK shit about anything.... but my gut feeling is that he's been playing through something all year long and they've chosen to keep the details under wraps.
I would be willing to throw down on a ROD bet saying Fiske will have some sort of surgery just a few days after his last game at Santa Clara...

Sounds like various dings throughout his body. That's normal for a football player. His play this year could just be a sophomore slump which is pretty common.

They traded up to take him in the second, so I think more should be expected of him, especially considering last year.

He doesn't seem to be anything more than average on non passing down. I like the player. But I didn't like the trade up on draft day. And I like it even less now that he cannot stay healthy. Good player. But too much draft capital invested for a part time cog, both in terms of availability, and the types of situations he excels in when healthy. It's all water under the bridge now. The picks are spent. So might as well be happy with the player. But not the best asset management on this pick IMO. 39th overall... that's almost a 1st rounder... Cooper DeJean went the next next pick to the Eagles, we could sure use the help in the secondary right now.
