I usually refrain from posting articles from these low-quality Rams sites, but here's an "article" regarding yesterday's injury report.

Yes, Limmer has some sort of knee concern. But five other players were supposedly listed as "out" as well. Again, it's unclear whether the Rams "actually" practiced yesterday, or whether it was just one of those "if we had practiced on Monday they would've been out" designations.

Given that McVay did not even mention Limmer's knee, it seems unlikely that he'll be out for the SF game. Then again, the Rams tend to be really cagey about injury news, so it's hard to tell.

Did he have an injury designation?
He was listed as Did not Practice yesterday, though there was no practice. The designation means had the Rams had a practice he would not have participated

I would rather keep AJ and use the draft picks on bigger holes. We have an aging skill position group (Kupp, Higbee), we have Jags at Corner, we have Hav who may not even play next year, and we have contracts ending. Resign AJ who has been above average. We won’t be in the running for the next Pace (which there isn’t one in this draft, IMO)
I agree with everything you said. It Hav retires then sign A. Jackson to slide over to the RT and draft a LT I. rd 1
Then draft a TE in Rd 2 and so on. Need to add 1-2 better CBs etc

Jackson is a good player. If he's consistent with his snaps, we should be okay. Limmer has played well for a rookie, but he's prone to rookie lapses.

Here's what McVay said on Monday regarding injuries:

Los Angeles Rams Transcripts - Head Coach Sean McVay -
Monday, December 9, 2024

Head Coach Sean McVay

(On an injury update from yesterday's game)

"I don't have the update from [Vice President of Sports Medicine and Performance] Reggie
[Scott] as guys are kind of starting to trickle in. Cobie Durant did get a little bit of a lung contusion
after the game, but he's going to be okay. I don't know exactly what his status will be as it relates
to this game. I'll have more information for you guys whenever we connect next."

(On whether it’s a lung contusion)

"Yes."

(On whether WR Demarcus Robinson was injured in yesterday's game)

"He had a little bit of an AC sprain. He was able to come back in the game. That's something that
he got on that deep catch that got called back for offsetting penalties, but he was able to come
back in on a couple of different plays. I'm sure he'll be really sore this morning. A couple of our
guys were good and sore, but I don't think it... I'll have more information [later]. I don't want to be
quick to be too presumptuous, but the hope is that it shouldn't affect his status for the game."

Between FA and the draft they need...

1. Two CB's

2. An OT that can be a decent back up on day 1, future starter

3. WR that can threaten deep

4. A more dynamic TE probably via the draft.

5. NT, prefer a vet to anchor the DL and provide leadership.

6. A young LB to push Speights

7. A vet RB with size or a speedy change of pace RB

Not so sure. To me the relationship/trust between QB and C is much more important than most realize. Limmer and Stafford seem to have it. Although Jackson has the physical skills, I don't expect him to be able to get the Oline to gel/work/gel together as well as Limmer does. It may take a couple of games.
I hope that I'm wrong if Limmer can't go.
IMO - J.Jackson was rushed. He sat out most of training camp as well, planning to play LG. When Avila couldn’t handle the job J.Jackson was the best option at the time.

A lot has changed, but J.Jackson can handle playing center & actually might still be the better CENTER?(that’s very questionable).

It’s more his health & the players around him as well. We’ll see how it all plays out,but IMO your over reacting???

I was all for leaving things a lone that week J.Jackson played center for Limmer, plus not using Noteboom as well that week.It seemed rushed & didn’t make sense at the time.
—Both players haven’t seen the grass since either ? I think Noteboom getting hurt once again.Sometimes it makes me wonder how hurt he really is ?

Alaric Jackson is a must sign. He's ascending and playing at a really good level. Letting him go will simply create ANOTHER hole on the roster.

Alaric/Avila/Nimmer/Dotson/?? next season would be nice.

Hell, can Jonah Jackson play RT?

That’s actually a JOKE to me !!! Can’t understand why he didn’t get locked up on a nice 3 year deal that would help both teams out.

At this point I'm more concerned about the availability of Cobie Durant.

McVay said he had a "little bit of a lung contusion."

Rub some dirt on it and he should be fine

We need a cb but Cobie not a jag he’s been very good he just never need a to play in slot again

Draft a future starting LT and use Jackson as 1st OT off bench at both sides
Maybe in an ideal draft. But that was last year with so many tackles at the top. I'd prefer they address a need like at Corner, or TE. If they sign Aleric Jackson its probably going to be starter money. Can they afford to have more cap sitting on the bench?

DON’T UNDERSTAND IT !!

Oldschool & Merlin address the need all year.Wanting The Rams to draft a LT if the future.

I’ve ALWAYS been to just sign Alaric Jackson to a 3 year friendly contract for both THE RAMS & JACKSON!!

That’s where it lies ?? I don’t get WHERE you can’t see the talent ? I do know at some point he got suspended, but Alaric Jackson should have been signed ?

I guess that is still to be determined.I mean I never liked the Brian Allen pick .Then to fill both he & Noteboom at Center & Guard without even a preseason as starters ? Shelton could have been resigned as well ? J.Jackson - is he an upgrade???

Yes - Noteboom was a disappointment, but he was never anything more than a solid backup LT. He could never play on the right side at guard.
—Alaric Jackson can & did play solid at RG.His first starter was there.
—It is what it is.Right now it’s about FINISHING 2024 STRONG!!

Jared Goff in 2019 almost took The Rams to the Playoffs.Last season it was 1 game that separated The Rams basically again ?

Even The Superbowl year could have went South ?Especially after that Baltimore game.Genius of Raheem Morris to call NOW HOF’er Eric Weedle !!! You look at Jimmy G looking like Josh Allen in 2019.
—These are the games that count, but that Bears game I went to might be a hauted one.Green Bay ?

It’s all a WASH if The Rams can’t beat the NINERS again. Can’t peak at the JETS!!

There seems like there is good quality of players coming out in the draft at the TE position, this year. I would like to see the Rams go CB in RD 1 and use one of the 3rd RD picks on a TE.

Agreed. Alaric is a solid starter at LT. No reason to create another hole to fill.

Yeah that shit has to hurt. Worst thing is he's been our most consistent corner too. Not saying much, but still...

Sure would be nice if Forbes could lock up a role for us in this game. He's gonna fuck up too I am sure, but I'd like to have his speed out there outside the hash with Durant. Put Williams' ass in the slot for this one and see how it goes.
