Why would the horn have 3 separate sections instead of one solid piece? I'm calling bullshit or fake or Chargers logo that was altered.

I like the colors on it, thank God it's not blue and white only. But my problem, is the first thing I immediately said, was, oh, its a chargers logo. D'oh!
OK. To clarify... I'm not a fan of the potential new logo at all. My reaction to all of these changes is that they have the template in place to give the fans what they want without having to do much more than align the colors and make sure the jersey lines work with modern NFL jersey fits.
But interestingly, it does appear that the "horns with lines" works much better on an actual helmet. It still wouldn't my first, second or even third choice for a helmet design.

If it went with a sleek modern update to the uniform and of course a not shitty logo, I could get used to it, but it's still just over complicating things for the sake of it.
They could have done it cheap and made the fans happy, just a slight update on the throwbacks and a color change on the logo. If they just had to change it, the combination of the old school Rams head and the current Rams head that's going around now is the best of both worlds. These helmets could even be part of that and I'd probably dig it.
Save money, likely have a higher profit margin, these guys are supposed to be good at business, right?

The horn kind of looks like a croissant to me, but I’m hungry, so... seriously in the actual proposed logo the L and A are mismatched in line thickness (size) making the typography amateurish. The horn is overly complicated. Simple is timeless. The horns we have are fine. Remember this: YOU CAN’T DESIGN BY COMMITTEE!! This is what turns good ideas into bad designs. Every time!!
Instead, if you’ve got to have a new logo, make an open online logo competition out of it, and provide the colors to the competitive designers that they get to use. Let 2 top designers pick their 5 favorite designs then let the fans pick the winner online. Give the winning designer 4 tickets to the SB in the new LA stadium and an autographed team ball. Done. Marketing and public approval all in one simple idea.
