I saw the play when this happen and later he re-injured it again. Pointed it out in the CHAT but this is the first information I have seen on it.

Laurinaitis suffered the injury on the second series of the game but was able to play through it. He is headed for an MRI on Monday, but NFL Network's Rand Getlin reports there is optimism he will be able to play through the injury. Laurinaitis has 45 combined tackles and a sack through six games this season.

I sure hope we don't loose him too!!!!!!! ( 1st - Gaines, then Ogletree, and Long! now Laurinaitus) we're stating to go through our Defensive Depth!!

I too noticed when he did it and again when he tweeked it again. He played much of that game in pain and was favoring that arm a lot when leaving the field. He's a warrior, no doubt about it.

I sure JL is very sore today with that elbow. Yes he played through it but now that big brace he will wear for a while is sure to cause him some issues in making tackles.

It may be a smart thing to rest him this week and go with our bench. Bates, Dunbar or the Rookie MLB'er Bryce Hager. I would want JL fresh & ready to face the Vikings & AP!

Akeem Ayers who has not shown me anything much has played inside LB'er too. Snead gets kudos for getting this team some excellent depth now.

Ever since his bad games to start the year, JL has played great. It'd be a big loss.

Isn't this the same type of injury JJ Watt played through a couple years ago? He just put that brace thing on and continued having an MVP type season. Maybe JL can play well still too if it's similar.

I would like to see him get spelled quite a bit against the Niners but I'm not sure we are ready to go into a game without him calling the shots just yet. If he could play maybe just 50% of the snaps, I think we could live with that against the Niners 32nd ranked Offense.

Pretty much... THIS.
