Not much difference between picks 26 and 40 or 50. Not in this draft at least. So if you like a player and don't want to lose him... you take him when you can. Especially at such an important position for the future of this organization. Again, if they really like a player.I wouldn't mind him in, say, the second round, if McVay was really into him. But with #26? Absolutely no fucking way I'd be on board with that.

Which makes the rumor that he loves McCord less likely to be true.Yes, don't y'all remember Wolford? McVay was gushing about QB mobility. He definitely wants an athletic QB. I don't know if Milroe is the QB he wants, but he'd love to have that added dimension.
Sorry but GOD NO! I just don’t see him leading this team for a season. IMO, he barely looked serviceable in that meaningless game he played for us. I just don’t see what some were seeing in that game.Jimmy G is still an option
I think that's correct, but it's possible his view has changed.Which makes the rumor that he loves McCord less likely to be true.
And everyone in ROD post-draft:Everyone in ROD.![]()
Don’t get me wrong. So am I.
They can’t be thinking much earlier for any of these guys, can they? Maybe if they get someone to trade with them and they move back into the 2nd.In the third round, maybe. No earlier.
Could the Rams be trying to artificially recreate a scene similar to last year’s draft whereby there is a run on QBs—pushing top prospects down into Ram territory?Smoke!
And Perkins? And how he used Wentz?Yes, don't y'all remember Wolford? McVay was gushing about QB mobility. He definitely wants an athletic QB. I don't know if Milroe is the QB he wants, but he'd love to have that added dimension.
