just too much money required for a depth dude to bring him back
Seemed to be the case when he was an UFA, however it turned out to be the opposite. Only 850k guaranteed, 1.75 mill total for 1 year. It's incredible how the RB position is so devalued. With Michel you've got pretty much a guaranteed 4 ypg, handful of TD, great pass pro, and only 3 lost fumbles in 4 seasons. And yet at a mere 27 years old, he's lucky to have gotten just over league minimum....

Hey, Les might want to go looking for a few RB's who are not clones of Mr. Glass. This upcoming season might go a bit better if you had a few who could make a run onto the field without breaking or pulling something on their bodies.

You mean like Baltimore? I wonder how many teams had a starting RB last all season.

Water under the bridge but I thought Michel provided solid support.
I like this decision. Seems like he is a "better fit for outside run zone systems " .

  • Rams' A.J. Rose: Inks deal with LAR
    Rotowire 18 HRS AGO
The Rams signed Rose on Wednesday.
Rose was waived by the Vikings at the beginning of June in favor of Albert Wilson. However, the undrafted running back out of Kentucky quickly found a new squad and will look to carve out a role in Los Angeles. With multiple injuries to depth pieces, Rose may get increased looks during offseason work.

Yeah AJ is power runner that can catch out of the backfield, he looks pretty good. He runs a 4.5 40 so not a screamer, but plenty fast. Obviously McDonnell liked him enough to call McVay. I like him as cheap insurance. Hopefully he’s not fragile.

I like his immediate burst and that he seems to have some strength. At 6'1" he may be able to put on a few pounds too. I'm sure Coen has some insight on him. I'm not really concerned that he was released by the Queens as they have a pretty good RB situation there. It would be nice if he becomes the power back we just don't have.

Yep I agree. I noticed he fumbled the ball in one of his runs. He will need to work on that. But overall a pretty good looking back.
