Glad they went to 13 personnel in the 4th quarter - it seemed effective. I hadn't noticed Higbee on the field at all since his 36-yard catch early on. It looked like he should have stayed down on the play instead of getting back up, as he got hammered when he got up. It looked helmet-to-helmet, and I wonder if he had concussion effects?

Solid if unspectacular running by Williams and Corum the whole game. They didn't break any runs, but they always managed 2 yards at least, typically 4.

They opened well and got the final stop but struggled to get off the field in the second half. They were getting pressure and I give credit to Bryce Young for hanging in there and throwing darts. I applaud the decision to send 5 late in the game. Prevent defenses prevent winning in my book. BIG WIN.This week know one wa giving the Panthers much of a chance. Next week nobody will give the Rams a chance. Exactly where we want to be.

It's comical though you quoted me saying I wanted to add 2 CB this offseason. I identified other things that went wrong with the TEAM.
You though can't see beyond one flaw in the team long enough to acknowledge that all 3 phases of the game let the team down at times and all 3 did things at times that helped the game.

The CB are bad but the front 7 was really good most all of the game.
The ST had a block punt and recovered a muff.
The O scored points and had much of the 2nd half where they did jack and shit and kept the Panthers in the game instead of putting them out of their misery.
Yet your are so focused on hating our Defense you simply are not capable of being honest and assessing the whole team.

Our defensive line is good.. not sure about the lb core.. pretty average - and yes the secondary is not good - Quentin lake back lookin like BBQ chicken

If you want to try and analyze my posts - I'll give it right back to you. Ever since you found yourself having to defend Raheem Morris you have developed this complex where you have to stand up for the defense regardless of anything that happens.

Thinking you are more being more objective than me is ridiculous.

That was my thought too. Without the block, Panthers would have eaten the clock and probably somehow still gotten their TD. I was oddly relieved to get the ball back, trailing by 4, but with over 2 1/2 minutes and 3 TOs.

I was actually glad that the Rams were down by 4 and not 3 with 2 minutes left. They played aggressive and decisive. No 3 to think about . Matt Stafford had his struggles but was a MASTER with the game on the line.

I would have never worried at all. But all of my "friends" starting giving me shit as soon as Carolina took the lead. And then I just wanted to strangle them.

But we did it, yet another fourth quarter comeback for Stafford. And i told them all to pound sand

Yeah, I hated all the stories about being 10 pt favorites this week. That team matches up well with us. Great secondary, they run the ball, big WRs. Plus, the Rams don't play great as heavy favorites.
