I was torn between the Kupp bomb and the Waddy catch. God I was sick of losing to the Cowturds and the Viqueens in the playoffs. I jumped 10' in the air on both plays.

The "Tackle", I tossed a club sandwich in the bar with the victory celebration.
And it was the first SB win for my Rams.

Definitely the tackle. At the time no superbowl wins. And as Tennessee drove down the field I had a sinking feeling. When Dyson caught that pass it looked like he was getting in but jones made the most important tackle in rams history and as the rams stormed the fied, I dropped to the floor at our superbowl party and did the Angus young floor spin.

Too many over the years to be satisfied with just one, but this is one I’ll always remember because I was at the game in candlestick park watching the 9ers beat the Rams 28-14.

Early in the game Dickerson got held up by at least 2 or 3 defenders when ronnie lott came racing in and “ended the play.” The stadium erupted. That was HIS full speed shot on a stationary target.

ED got his later in the game when the Rams were inside the 10 yard line. #28 took the pitch to the left, planted, and cut straight up between the guard and tackle. Lott was waiting at the goal line. Dickerson hit him like Campbell on Robertson and planted him 5 yards deep in the end zone.

Yeah, we lost, but everybody there saw it.
IT WAS FUCKING BEAUTIFUL!!

Flipper deserves mention, maybe not their greatest play but possibly their most exhilarating play

That is mine as well. Not simply because it was a no-look, but that it was a no look for a reason, that absolutely manipulated the safety and made the play. The balls on that Stafford guy, huh? Amazing. Also, as far as I am concerned the greatest play, in the drive in Super Bowl history.

Agreed. That Flipper catch to beat the Giants gets my vote for "best Rams play of the 80s."
What a dramatic finish! And Flipper runs right out the tunnel....

I voted the Bruce catch. 20 years as a fan, that catch made every down worth it. The Ricky Proehl catch would be my number 2. AD & Kupp‘s SB plays 3rd.

The greatest part of play is that it will be on highlight films forever!

That is a good one. I will never forget it.

I was vacationing w my gf and watched this from the bar at the Rosarito Beach Hotel. The place went nuts on that catch, with Rams fans lubed up on margaritas.

Good times.

Az and Torry's epic MNF run is still way up on the list for me.

From this season, our first offensive highlight is one of my favourites. Just for what I was thinking and feeling when I saw it. A whole offseason of hype and it only took three plays for Matt Stafford to show what he was bringing to this offense. Return of the deep ball after a two year absence. I asked for a whole season's worth of plays like this one, and that's exactly what we got.

What killed me was we always beat one of those turds only to lose to the other one. That's why the cowturds and the viketurds went to so many superbowls.

I could have easily gone with the Waddy catch but, in the end, I had to go with the play predicted by my sig quote.

Favorite regular season plays: Bruce’s 4 TDs vs Niners in first 1999 matchup with our hated rivals.
