Man i would love AJ brown on this team. I think he would love stafford. But we can’t pay more than a 2027 1st round for him. That’s my breaking point. Anything more is too much

When they win the Super Bowl they won’t have a haul to trade.
I don’t know why this keeps coming up but if Burrow goes on the trade block the Rams don’t have the ammo to compete
Sure, if he blows out his knee and misses the season again, then he might be had for a package they could afford, but at that point why would you want him
Just curious, how do you define “what the Rams can afford?”

If the Rams want to throw three 1st rd picks at a team for a sure fire franchise QB they’ll do it. They’ve done it. They’ve also proven that they can afford expensive trades for the last 10 years.

Im just wondering why you feel like the Rams have a “cap” of affordability. Or maybe Im misunderstanding your view.

Not sure about what they can afford, but it could be difficult to compete with other teams due the 1st round selections expected to be at the bottom of the rounds which are on par with 2nd round selections for most draft classes. The Rams would probably have to throw in those selections, other picks, and maybe even a young player or two not in the final year of their contracts to swing such a deal. That is, unless Burrow states he only want to play for the Rams.

AJ Brown has DK Metcalf talent but unfortunately DK Metcalf brain as well. Not exactly McVay’s type of player. I’d rather he stay in Philly and poison the Eagles. Need a cost controlled rookie to balance the cap. Lemon would be perfect if he falls to the Rams.
AJ Brown is way better than Metcalf. I'll just trust the Rams on this one.

Brown can run every route, Metcalf can only run like 4 routes. Brown's talent is levels beyond Metcalf.

This A.J. Brown thing isnt dead by no means. They pushed back the Goedardt void thing for the SECOND TIME (See video) til Monday to try and get a deal done. Eagles can't pay both Brown and Goedardt but they want one or the other. Doesn't say if the Rams are the favorites here I can definitely see Brown going to the Patriots more likely.

Because they had a former #1 overall pick to include along with those #1 picks when under the current scenario the best pick they have is #32
trading multiple 1st round picks isn’t all that attractive after the following year.
If Burrow is available the Rams won’t have the assets to trade

I imagine the 2nd rounder was on the table but the Eagles probably had eyes on 13 and that's not gonna happen
