I loved seeing all the praise for our Rams BUT....these "NFL analysts" most of really suck major donkey ass. They act like spoiled little kids.

I'm a bit miffed on the media's emphasis of the Bills' blunder at the end of the game in Allen's QB sneak versus throwing it three times for a TD.

It's all assuming that the Rams would have gone 3 and out if the Bills kicked it deep. Why assume that on a team that's put up 44 points against you?
AND a team that would go into Soul Snatcher mode. When Stafford's back is against the wall, there are few QB's in history that I would prefer over him.

I honestly think that’s one of the most unbiased broadcasts I’ve heard. He’s welcome back to our house to absorb as many Bills losses as he likes.
I watched some of a Buffalo Fanatics podcast after the game and those dudes were actually very very good. Rico and Bot I think they were known as.

Rams PFF grades: Best and worst performers vs. Bills

USATSI_24945395.jpg

The Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills lit up the scoreboard on Sunday afternoon, going off for 902 combined yards and 86 total points in the Rams' 44-42 win. The offenses sprinted up and down the field with touchdown drive after touchdown drive, making it look easy against two defenses that have shown flashes of dominance this season.
Pro Football Focus handed out grades for every player in the game and it was the offense that headlined this week’s high marks – which should surprise no one. Matthew Stafford is the highest-graded quarterback of Week 14 so far, and Puka Nacua is tops among all wide receivers, too.
As a team, the Rams allowed zero sacks and only eight total pressures, but the defense did miss 11 tackles.
Here’s a look at the best and worst performers based on PFF’s grades (min. 10 snaps).
USATSI_24944394.jpg

  • QB Matthew Stafford: 93.5
  • WR Puka Nacua: 92.3
  • LT Alaric Jackson: 89.5
  • RT Rob Havenstein: 85.6
  • WR Cooper Kupp: 80.8
The two guys at the top were unbelievably good for the Rams. Stafford posted his highest PFF grade since the 2020 season and the best of any QB this week, while Nacua is the highest-graded wide receiver in the NFL for Week 14. Stafford made four big-time throws and had zero turnover-worthy plays, putting together a near-perfect performance against Buffalo.

Jackson allowed zero pressures and had a 90.6 run-blocking grade, the highest mark on the team this week.
Havenstein gave up three pressures but his 90.5 run-blocking grade was elite and lifted his overall grade significantly.
Kupp hauled in a handful of key passes, including a 17-yard touchdown and 37-yarder downfield, earning his first 80-plus grade of the season.

Top 5 defense

  • DT Kobie Turner: 81.1
  • S Kamren Kinchens: 73.2
  • S Jaylen McCollough: 69.7
  • DT Tyler Davis: 69.1
  • CB Cobie Durant: 64.7
Unsurprisingly, there weren’t many standout performers on defense in a game where the Rams gave up six touchdowns and 447 total yards. Turner was tied for the team-high with four pressures and he made two stops, so he was a bright spot up front.
Kinchens was only targeted once but he allowed a 51-yard reception on that pass and he also missed a tackle. He did prevent a long touchdown pass by knocking away the ball at the last second near the goal line.
McCollough didn’t allow any receptions in coverage and didn’t miss any tackles, so he was steady on the back end.
Davis only played 11 snaps and didn’t have any pressures or tackles, so his impact was minimal.
Durant was the Rams’ best coverage man, allowing only three receptions on eight targets for a total of 26 yards. He didn’t miss a single tackle and had a pass breakup, too.

Bottom 5 offense
2188925967.jpg

  • RB Blake Corum: 58.6
  • TE Davis Allen: 57.3
  • WR Jordan Whittington: 57.3
  • TE Hunter Long: 55.7
  • WR Tyler Johnson: 55.7
All of these players in the bottom five played 22 or fewer snaps and none of them caught a pass in the win. Corum is the only one who touched the ball, carrying it eight times for 34 yards.
Allen had a 64.5 grade as a run blocker and wasn’t targeted.
Whittington didn’t run a single route and played 10 snaps, all as a run blocker.
Long saw one target, which fell incomplete, and he played 15 snaps as a run blocker where he earned a 58.2 grade.
Johnson only ran six routes and had 10 run-blocking snaps, seeing no targets from Stafford.

  • DT Braden Fiske: 47.8
  • DT Desjuan Johnson: 46.8
  • CB Darious Williams: 42.3
  • S Quentin Lake: 39.2
  • LB Omar Speights: 26.9
It was not a great day for any of these five players. Fiske had two pressures, but he also missed two tackles and he only finished with one tackle in the entire game.
Johnson made one tackle and had a 53.4 run defense grade in the 13 total snaps he played.
Williams was picked on in coverage, as was Lake. Williams gave up five catches for 75 yards on nine targets, while Lake gave up seven receptions for 105 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. Both players were flagged for pass interference penalties on the Bills’ final offensive drive, too.
Speights allowed four catches on four targets for 40 yards and he missed two tackles in the open field, finding himself out of position too often.

WR Tutu Atwell: 72.9
  • OLB Jared Verse: 63.7
  • RB Kyren Williams: 61.7
  • OLB Byron Young: 58.7
Atwell contributed in a meaningful way, catching three passes for 45 yards, including a fourth-down conversion late in the fourth quarter.
Verse had four pressures but he also missed three tackles, which were the most on the team.
Williams didn’t have any long runs but he consistently gained positive yardage and finished with 97 yards from scrimmage.
Young only had two pressures and he committed two costly penalties on the Bills’ opening drive.

We match up very well with Philly right now. When we played them a couple games ago, we had just gotten Steve Avila and Josh Jackson back. Those guys were not game tough. You can be in excellent physical condition. However, there is no practical way of simulating the pounding players get in practice. You simply have to play your way back into game tough conditioning. Steve had his worst game as a Horn. Josh was even worst. So Philly dominated the LOS.

I like our chances against them much better right now, especially with Big Rob back at RT. In Cooper and Puka, Matthew and Sean essentially have two #1 WRs, much like Kurt Warner had two #1's in Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt. And we are about to get our starting TE back very soon.

The only hitch is our defensive youth. They definitely have the energy and ambition. But they are still prone to rookie | young player mistakes. If the Horns can overcome those mistakes, and, if our special teams begin to blossom even more (e.g., look out for Jordan Whittington to take one or two long ones in the coming weeks!), we will be a handful for any team!!! :fistbump1:

What happened to the Bills fans taking over the stadium? Plenty of rams fans in there.

.
The one guy on NFL Network said he was at the game and even though there were a lot of Bills fans there, there was a whole lot of Rams fans too. When Puka scored that last TD the stadium went nuts he said and it was loud.
