That’s in large part due to Kyren.

And what a pleasant change. A few years ago 3rd and short rarely got converted for a first down
Yup.
I used to lose my mind when they went for it on first down and passed the ball.
If you can not get a yard when you need it you are playing the wrong game.
Much happier running the ball on 3rd and short too.
Kyren is pretty darn good at short yardage.

This is reason #1 to keep him.
3rd & short? 4th & 1?? sound the siren, Kyren.
Heck 1st & 10, late 3rd quarter, up by 10+ : Kyren Kyren Kyren. Happy flight home.
Corum and/or rookie RB can carry the rest of the load.

Where is that guy getting his data?

I don’t have twitter to log in and see his source and a 92% conversion rate by the Rams does not look correct.

Warren Sharp is one of the most credible analytic sources out there. He compiles the data himself.

That is pretty cool, but am I the only one who finds it hard to believe the Eagles conversation rate is only 86%? Not sure I can name 2 plays in which the douche push was stopped and yet 3 teams have a better rate.

I dont know this Sharpe fellow but am questioning how accurate this is. Its not crazy inaccurate as the Rams like top 5 on 4th down conversations as a whole.

That’s why you pair him up with Omarion Hampton and wreak havoc on the league
Only if we have a trade in place for Corum. Do we need 3 good backs while having other needs? I also think Hampton is gone by 26 and in no way should we be trading up for a RB.

Ok, does he provide a detailed breakdown that references the games?

It may be correct, I was looking at 4th down rate but can’t find 4th and 1 rate, which would be a higher percent conversion rate.

A man can dream no?
Haha.
He’ll be gone by pick 10.
And I’m in the trade back not up group

Eagles struggled without Kelce for the first few games, I’m sure that has a great effect on this.

Yeah, I'd be curious to see his raw data too.

92% may be correct, but I bet the Rams go for it FAR less frequently than many of those other teams. I'd be curious to see the number of attempts.

Kyren is a beast in short yardage situation. His quick cuts within a split second of getting the ball are some of the best I have seen. I don't think it is as simple as "run it 3 or 4 times!!!!!" when you get into 1st and goal situations with only a few yards to go, like many fans always scream blindly, myself included at times. But with Kyren, that line of thinking might have some merit. He's that good in short yardage.
