I saw that earlier this afternoon on nbcsports.com (NFL News). Its and excellent site for sports updates.Rams opened up Rob Hav’s practice window today.
No - I don’t think he will be the starter - but if he is healthy enough to play - I’d sure as hell like to have him available to back up Warren. Depth matters.I saw that earlier this afternoon on nbcsports.com (NFL News). Its and excellent site for sports updates.
If something is reported ... local or national ... print, radio, TV, internet ... it is timely made available.
The negative is that this site also provides commentary / opinion ... and THAT is fucking useless.
The Havenstein practice-window report is a good example. Here is what the site's commentary stated:
'Getting their RT back in time for this week’s game against the Seahawks would be great for the Rams’ offense.'
Does anyone here think for a second that Havenstein would replace a healthy Warren McClendon? I don't.
In my opinion, McClendon has clearly out-performed Havenstein since replacing the injured veteran.
It's a Great Example of the point that, as die-hard Rams' fans, we know MUCH MORE about our team than the national sports media.
And since this may be it for him, it would be nice. However, someone would have to be inactive. No - I don’t think he will be the starter - but if he is healthy enough to play - I’d sure as hell like to have him available to back up Warren. Depth matters.
Trick plays somehow instantly piss me off when I see them unfolding during a Rams game.I wonder if any of our OL’ers ever played TE and has hands.
Again, a minor criticism of McVays playbook is it’s not exactly creative or willing…in terms of trick plays or using non-conventional packages.
We could put Hav at TE for running plays, that would put more beef on the o lineI wonder if any of our OL’ers ever played TE and has hands.

Yeah good example. This is kind of a vanilla offense in terms of creativity. It’s a complicated, high performing and functioning offense…but this is another area where McVay’s conservative nature comes out.We could put Hav at TE for running plays, that would put more beef on the o line
Agreed.Trick plays somehow instantly piss me off when I see them unfolding during a Rams game.
They're usually either working successfully against us, or we're looking like the keystone cops in an attempt to pull it off.
Finna run 14 personnel, no WRs.Redzone: "Hey ref #79 reporting in as eligible."![]()
Don't touch it.The hat in my profile photo has been on my head or on the dash of my car since we entered the playoffs.
Let's keep it that way!
Doing the same with my hat too. Also flying my Rams game day flag, as well as the old style blue and white rams head yard banner.Don't touch it.![]()
YES. We have four awesome tight ends. We need a 14 package at least for this game, and if we get further, the Super Bowl.Finna run 14 personnel, no WRs.
3rd rematch? Hmmmm.....
Would be the 2nd rematch of this season
Got a spaghetti stain on my favorite jersey at the restaurant prior to the wildcard game. Haven't cleaned it yet.Doing the same with my hat too. Also flying my Rams game day flag, as well as the old style blue and white rams head yard banner.
Gotta have it all working.
