Darious Williams being inactive is surprising. I wonder if all is well with him. Or, alternatively, if this is a quiet benching. He was listed on the injury report early this week, but as non-injury related/personal. I do find it odd he wouldn't even dress if he was capable and injury free. You can never have enough corners. Hope everything is okay with him. Panthers have big WRs, but I don't think this is just a stylistic roster decision. You don't put players on the injury report for that.
Hunter being active for what I believe is the first time this year is, honestly, bizarre. His first snap potentially coming in a playoff game doesn't exactly sound like wise roster management over the course of the season. I love McVay but his handling of rookie RBs is awful and has no excuses. Every team in the NFL finds a way for even late round RBs to contribute in some way, even if their pass blocking still needs work. Special teams. As an RB3 that only sees a couple snaps per game. Ours never even dress, even if they are high picks. Ridiculous. This is two years running now where our RB core is in the playoffs badly hurting. We sure could have benefitted from Hunter getting his feet wet earlier in the season. God help us if we have Ronnie Rivers ( who I actually do like, in a depth role) as undisputed RB1 again with nobody behind him, for the 2nd year running in the post-season. I thought we drafted Hunter specifically to avoid that situation. But apparently not. Both Corum and KW with ankle injuries. Better hope they hold up and can play through them effectively...
Sucks not having Ferguson, but with Higbee back, the TE cupboard is not bare, so there is no excuse, Rams need to win this game.

Not feeling particularly confident for this game. I simply do not like how this secondary has been trending. Can Lake's addition change that? Hope so. It's either that or our DL dominating.

What makes you think RB1 & 2 are hurting? I’m not seeing any indication of that. Corum was back last week and looked good.
I hear ya on the secondary but I think Carolina is gonna try and run the piss out of the ball and control TOP. They got 2 good receivers for sure but they have to try and limit our possessions by running the ball. Need an excellent tackling game.Not feeling particularly confident for this game. I’m staying away from the GDT. All I’ll say is please don’t fall behind early , and struggle to catch up. Dominate from start to finish , and stay healthy. GO RAMS
Hunter is active because we are down 2 ST players and one of them returns kicks. Rivers is still active and will be the 3rd back if needed. Otherwise aside from kick returning, we won't see Hunter unless a couple of injuries happen or we are up really big and it is garbage time.
I dont expect to see Hunter on O, but I do think we might see him returning kicks.
I don’t mind a little rain I just don’t wanna have to stop the game for a 75 minute lightning delay.
