I like all the nice guy questions from the interviewers. If I had a chance to question McVay the below would be my first three questions.

My first question:
Hey Shawn, what was the offensive mindset the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter that lead to four consecutive punts?

My second question:
There seemed a be a willingness to go for it on 4th downs in the first half, but what changed your mindset in the 4th quarter of not going for it on 4th down, especially on the teams last possession when you were on the Seahawks side of the field?

My last question:
With the ST's struggling all season on punt coverages and field goals, why put the ST's at risk with four consecutive punts, by increasing the Seahawks chances for a big play?

Kyle Pitts is absolutely on fire. I am curious who they have guarding him. This is actually a huge game. We need the W to keep our hopes for the division alive, and also want that Falcons pick as high as possible on top of that!
And also if by chance we are NOT the 1 seed, we need ensure we get the 5. That aint a bad path.....

From what I have seen the key to beat this Falcons team is just get out in front of them and make them play catch-up. You need to take Robinson out of the game as much as possible and mitigate Pitts' catches.

Damn straight. The west is gonna have two WC teams and no matter which two they are, my $$ says they win their first game—eliminating 2 division winners. The 5 seed could get a home game.

We now have both the #1 total offense and scoring offense in the NFL. This, I believe, is the first time we've had both under McVay this late in the year and likely the first time since the GSOT days

I'm over the loss. Its history and can't be changed. I'm preparing myself to accept that we're likely to be playing in the wild card round the weekend of Jan 10 and 11. Win these last two games and we have a shot at the 5th seed. I don't see the 49ers beating both the Bears and Seahawks. Chances are they'll lose at least one. Possibly both. I don't expect a loss tonight though. Colts are fading fast.

This game is important for both seeding and draft position. Falcons have us next Monday and an improved Saints team in the finale. Saints have won 3 in a row beating the Bucs and Panthers. Its possible we could have a top ten pick.

Division is still in play. We'll know more before the Monday night game starts. Things didn't go our way this week, hopefully that changes next week and everything falls into place. If both the 9ers and hawks win their games then we'll take the field knowing the division is gone, then it's about playoff seeding.

Greetings everyone. Hope you all are well and happy holidays. I've been M.I.A. on here due to health issues with the wife and other things but I just wanted to touch base with you guys on the game we have coming up. Well here we are with another (hopefully but not optimistic) good matchup between my hometown Falcons and my 2nd fav. L.A. Rams. All I know is that our fans want you guys to put up a 60 burger if that's what it'll take to get Raheem Morris and Zac Robinson outta Flowery Branch. I myself kind of have mixed feeling about it because in my opinion part of Raheem's failure with this team is just purely the ball not bouncing his way so far as injuries and other stuff but on his part some of his decision making on the field is just plain atrocious. I am fine with Zac Robinson's playcalling. Most of our other fans want him burned at the stake. What I see is that they are "protecting" Michael Penix Jr.'s knees by putting him in the pistol formation which he also says he excels at but we haven't seen too much of that from him. Then as soon as he gets hurt and Cousins comes in under center...making the throws and the play-action come alive. Cousins is a statue no doubt but he can spread the ball unlike Penix who gets jittery when the pressure is on. Penix still needs work. He's limiting the playbook just being in the pistol formation as we can see with what Cousins can do when under center. So far as the draft picks is concerned, we are loving what Pearce, Jr. is giving us. He's disruptive and a pure beast. I think giving you guys that draft pick was a win for both teams. All in all, the Falcons should AT LEAST have 10 wins right now and most of our losses were one score games in the fourth quarter. Im just gonna say I hope they at least make it competitive on MNF.

I am afraid the Falcons still need a QB. I think Penix is a good kid who will do the work, but that knee coming up this soon for him is a really bad sign for his future.

They look a ton better with Cousins' retarded ass in there. Which is saying something really. Of course he'll return to who he really is the moment he's in a situation where he's the dude and there's pressure of expectations again. For now though he can play balls out and continue to fuck up our first round pick.

We have to play with urgency and slam the door shut then pour it on. I want to see 50 points by our offense.
Against the effin' chickens ,,,,,, whenever and wherever we meet in the playoffs.
Send them home with a 50 burgler. :helmet: :clinkingbeer:

Mcvays veins popping out on that video.

Dude is a relentless competitor in pursuit of a championship.

If we fail it won’t be his fault.

I just hope he can solve the complex equation in relation to losing with big leads. It’s a pattern he needs to be able to see. It requires a new approach.

I would recommend going for it on 4th down at times and dialing up heavy blitz packages at times, to force game ending turnovers.

Rams should win. It shouldn't be close. But this is the NFL. Not a lot of difference in talent from the worst to the best. Everyone can play if they make it to the NFL. Those eleven guys on the field of play on both sides are playing for pride, or even their jobs. They want to give their all. I take nothing for granted. We shoulda beat a depleted 49er team. But we came out flat at the beginning. Shoulda beat a lesser Panthers team but the turnovers cost us. Shoulda beat the Eagles but the field goal blocks lost the game. Shoulda beat the Seahawks but a combination of defensive, special teams and refs mistakes cost that one. The thing is, its the NFL. Anything can happen. I would not assume a blow out win Monday night. And they should not assume a sure win.

Fully agree. I've never seen so much parity in an NFL season as this season. I can say that there's been so many unexpected wins and losses this year it's actually been pretty fun. The game you guys lost against the Panthers was from 2 factors. The weather and for some reason Bryce Young plays like Superman after a loss (look at the Panthers win loss record. It's crazy). The NFC South is trash but is also the box of chocolates of the NFL. You just never know what you're gonna get. I predicted the Panthers beating the brakes off the Saints, Falcons losing to the Bills, you guys curb stomping the Panthers and the Seahawks annihilating the Bucs. That prediction didn't go well.

I get a feeling Landman's gonna want to show the Falcons they messed up trading him away.
Let's get a peanut punch or 2 for the win!!
I liked Landman when he was with the Falcons but they got a major upgrade with Divine Deablo. Our run defense especially took a huge blow when he fractured his forearm and was out. I believe they'll probably have Landman on Bijan all night.
