It is if you tackle on defense. How much bad tackling have we seen already? It's a mindset...and the Rams just aren't there mentally.

The Rams did just enough to get us excited for a few weeks. They don’t match up well against a good Oline with a running game. They don’t play well against a heavy pass rush. McVay, Wade, and Snead really need to figure out how to fix these glaring deficiencies. Can they do it in one season.
One thing you are correct about.. the inability to runt he ball hasn't helped us.
But anyone without their head up there ass has clearly noticed that we have had guys open and failed to connect... and been probably more damaging then the lack of running game.
Anyone else upset that they kneeled with 2 timeouts? I know they get the ball after the half but come on
If you don't run the ball, you become one dimensional. To your point, our OL is struggling to beat a 4 man rush on passing and rushing. Until we can reliably win these match ups, we're not a playoff team.

The problem with the run is all of them are inside zone. No diversity in the run calling. Hence the couple of yards we have. Dallas is running several different inside outside zone runs. Making it harder to stop.
Yes, obviously there are guys open. Goff is not prepared to run this offense, at times, for whatever reasons. If that's the case, McVay needs to dumb it down and be more conservative, or sit his ass and put Bortles out there.
He won't do either.
This is literally a repeat of the Ravens game with the exception that Prescott cannot run like Jackson.
