Thinking about it.. I have hated the Forty-Whiners for six decades!

I hear ya.

My pops took me to my first Rams game in 1969 and it was against John Brodie and the 49ers and we kicked the shit out of them. I just remember touchdown after touchdown. I clearly remembered being uber focused on Jack Snow and from that moment I knew I was going to be a WR.

This Rams team should have no issues handling SF, but they will struggle to handle them because that's what always happens.
Right. That’s what im saying. Doesn’t matter that the Rams offense is hot right now and the D is elite…this matchup negates all of that stuff.

I’d feel more confident vs the ‘85 Bears this week…rather than a Mac Jones QB’d, injury depleted overmatched Shanny team.

The evidence that Shanny has our number is overwhelming. Debating about momentum, talent, schemes and matchups and X’s and O’s is irrelevant in these games.

Im not saying we won’t or can’t win. Im saying we’re at a disadvantage even before the opening kickoff. I’d rather face ANY other team than Shanny’s Niners.

You know where im coming from.

And then what happened?

Just teasing

Won't happen with the others are playing so well, but I can't help but to wonder if a faster Dolac might be a better LB option against McCaffrey.

"The Los Angeles Rams dominated the rivalry against the San Francisco 49ers in the 1970s, winning 17 of 20 games. This included a 10-game winning streak from 1970 to 1975 and another seven-game streak later in the decade. While the 49ers had some notable wins, such as in 1970 and 1976, they generally struggled to compete with the Rams during this era."

If the 49ers were a crap team then I would agree, but I think we shouldn't underestimate how good and resilient they have been this season. And please don't write off the Rams as a non-playoff team if we come up short this weekend. The Rams have shown more times than not (to this point) are a very very good team and I would put them up against any top tier team in the NFL.
We have a three way tie for 1st place in the NFC West right now. If we lose to the Niners, they will not only be in first place and they'll also have a tie breaker advantage by beating us twice. And don't forget the Seahawks.

I'd prefer a guaranteed playoff spot instead of hoping for a wild card spot. We cant afford too many more losses especially against other NFC west teams.

The defense has got to force punts early and the offense has to get in gear early. No slow start like the last meeting.

It was driving me crazy watching the defense give up 7 yard plays all the way down the field and eventually falling behind by double digits. They got better in the second half but these slow starts against them kill our momentum.

Rat boy knows the pass rush is real so he was tossing to CMC out of the backfield and short slants by design and no adjustment was made until we were down double digits.

If the OL plays well Stafford will ball out, the offense will roll, and SF will eat shit.

Problem in these matchups is protections always suck ass. And our run game then fizzles out. We're a pass-first team, McVay sets the run up with the pass, so they need to come out and keep 9 clean. If they can do that I like our chances and from there it's hoping they can play a full game instead of pulling the bullshit they pulled in Philly.

Of course we know this is going to be an ugly fucking scrum of a game because it always is. But this should be the Rams dunking these dumbfucks in their house. Rams are the better roster.

Do not give them that much credit.
you are making 49er fans who read this happy, why ?
We need them miserable.
9ers misery = me happy.
I want them wiping their tears with their shit stained rainbow towels.
