Oh, I'm gonna say it; With the game on the line in the 4th quarter, I would rather have matt out there, and the numbers confirm the eye test. He has more playoff/superbowl wins over the last season than rodgers has in the last 3 years, despite being the number 1 seed twice. Don't even get me started on come from behind wins. Aaron is more concerned with NOT throwing a pick.
I wasn't comparing QBs, just commenting that AR with two current MVPs was able to get what I believe is the highest annual salary for a QB.

It’ll seem like an even bigger discount when the cap goes up again

And for your balls, we have a lovely spring mist of lavender, sandalwood, and goat droppings, with a touch of eucalyptus. It invigorates the balls, refreshes the sack, and makes you remember you have a taint.

I get it. You just reminded to compare them. After this season, matt will have a noticeable lead.

I’m having a felling in 10 years Stafford will be viewed as the greatest Ram QB ever by Rams fans and it won’t even be close.

Things like this coupled with championships propel you into another category all together.

Rodgers was under contract.
Watson is the outlier because he's only 26.
They were both under contract, but potentially available. Rodgers agreed to play in 21 but would retire if they didnt trade him. I'm sure you recall the story.. Watson had the no trade clause so was able to negotiate with potential suitors
Neither was a free agent per se, but both had all the leverage of a free agent and then some
Stafford is/was in a totally different spot.
Glad its all signed and can move on, but for the sake of comparisons, his extension is apples to oranges with Rodgers/Watson

Stafford had a very bit as much leverage as Rodgers.
Expiring contract… SB winner who tore up the playoffs and is 3 years younger.

No he didnt.
Had a year left, could have been franchise tagged.
Rodgers line was in the sand that he was requesting a trade, unless....
You seriously cant debate this, just read any of the 100 or so pages of Aaron Rodgers saga. If not for the gazillion dollar contract, he would have had to be traded

Rodgers had one year left too, they were both free agents after 2022. And yes Stafford took less sorry to burst your bubble he easily could have gotten as much as Watson.

Dude.. franchising means the entire value on that year’s cap.
Also.. do you think he plays under that?
You’re talking about attitude, not actual leverage.
Stafford could’ve pulled the same diva shit.
