OTC doesn't have Tutu on the site right now and he and Stafford could eat half of that 45 million or more. Could not saying it does because we don't know Staffords number.
I signed Tutu using their tool. Stafford was on the books with his existing contract.. I think &47 million.

Not if you added Tutu and Stafford's new money hasn't been announced yet his cap hit is the same as before so no $47 million sorry.

OTC has already changed it to a mere $7M cap hit in 2025.

Spotrac has not yet updated.

I always take these sites with a grain-of-salt, as they frequently adjust contract details.

Spotrac finally up-dated and has Jackson's 2025 cap hit at $8.2M, which is what OTC originally reported

I’m sorry… but I feel pretty good on my handle of current cap situation.

I’ve said several times they have levers to pull.. and some have shot me down. I thought they’d do it last year.. but I think they didn’t feel they were close enough last year.

They are now.. and.. as evidenced by Jackson’s structure and the Adams move, I believe they’re going all in.

The difference this time is they don’t need to trade picks.

Not saying anything about levers to pull. The number you cited is not possible with Tutu and Stafford not accounted for without pulling levers. You said the site had that number and those accounted for but they do not.

The site has tools to use to add/cut players,
I cut Kupp & signed Tutu to 10 million. It populates the dead money for Kupp. Stafford’s existing deal is on there.

But did you add 2025 money to Stafford's existing deal?

No. And I didn't subtract, either... which may happen. We don't know how the deal is structured. But his salary cap for this year on his existing contract is basically 50 million.

Well, they said that they didn't add years. If true, there is no way for the cap number to go down.

Having watched the Titans give 4 years and $80M for ex-Steeler LT Dan Moore, we got one helluva deal with Jackson. Moore led the league giving up 16.5 sacks and gets $20M per year contract. Yea, we got a great fucking deal. This should not be underestimated.

Was just thinking exactly this... Rams got huge value in this contract, in addition to stability.

Really good stuff.

DeiterRam said he wouldn’t give The Rams a Team discount & that I didn’t get it.Actually last season is when I wanted a 4 year contract.

He was saying 5 years $100 mil though . I know we all must think this is an excellent signing.I remember going to camp though & think why aren’t The Rams starting Alaric at RG ? He ended up taking Anchrom spot after his first play on Disabled list.

Then Noteboom got hurt & he has been The Rams LT since basically.
