I don't have any disagreement with that 53. I think Hamilton or Keenan are cut then stashed on the PS if Donald comes back.

So it is predicted that all 5 draft picks will make the roster?
I’m curious how many real game snaps they end up getting by the end of the season.

Simpson and Trost should not see the field unless an injury occurs.
Keenan will probably see snaps in the DL rotation behind Davis and Ford. Not a lot, but some.
Klare will probably see only a few also. That TE room is stacked with incumbents and Ferguson, by accounts, is taking a step forward.
CJD is gonna make the team. His snap count, and most importantly, targets will be something to watch as the season progresses.

I’m looking forward to seeing all 5 of these guys in preseason.

The Rams wire prediction is in line with what I would expect as well. If Donald comes back I think Hamilton is the one that is cut to make room. He was the least impressive of last year's rookies. I'm not 100% sure he makes it even if Donald does not come back. As noted before the draft, this team did have many empty roster spots to fill.

Note: A UDFA almost always makes it. I'm keeping my eye on Wesley Bailey the edge from Louisville.

I still think that they are going to add an OT, but the roster does seem pretty set.

I'm hopeful that guys like Nikhai Hill-Green, Dean Connors, Wesley Johnson and even Alex Johnson show out during the preseason games and make things interesting.

Solid assumptions I'd say. Man, looking at it makes me happy because we're stacked well at almost every position. I'd say ILB and o-line are the main depth concerns. But Dolac looks promising and Trost I have high hopes for so might be fine. WR might be scary if Puka goes down. For the 53 (aside from AD shaking things up), I'd possibly consider Mario Williams over Xavier... kind of depends on if Smith loses his return job or not. If he does I could see Williams making it.

Overall, easy to say this is the most stacked roster from top to bottom that I think we've ever had under McVay at least. If we can win the attrition battle with injuries this is going to be so fun to watch.

Yeah. I'll like it a lot better when AD is added. Are they going to keep both Hamilton and Keenan? If not, who do they keep? I don't remember much of Hamilton last year so.......
I'm really hoping they keep Keenan. Great kid, and he's a true NT who can back up Ford, unlike Hamilton & Davis. When Ford was out last year, our run D really suffered.
...that said, with MG on the line, who is really a 4-3 DE, that typically squeezes out an NT. If Shula wants to roll with a base 4-3 D, then it's likely they keep Ford for hybrid run downs--if so, Keenan is a luxury to keep on the roster :( If indeed AD returns, that makes a base starter D-Line of: MG - AD - KT - BY, with Fiske, Davis & Hamilton to back up KT & AD, DJ & JStewart back up MG & BY.
I really like Keenan & I don't think he lasts for long on the PS.

I see 4 WR's making the final roster with the depth at TE and Ferguson and Klare having to ability to split wide. We've also seen McVay split Parkinson wide at times.

I think at least 4 out of 5 make it. I'm intrigued by Kennan but not so sure he makes it if AD returns.

I wasn't impressed by Hamilton last year but we can't assume that Keenan would beat him out as McVay often leans to most experienced guy. I'm betting both survive on the PS.

Turner was interviewed the other day and he praised Hanilton as the strongest guy on the line and a guy who is starting to feel more comfortable here. Hopefully that translates into better play.

I think of this list, Lampkin is cut for AD.

Lake effectively takes up a CB spot, and I think draft pedigree makes it more likely that Hamilton gets snagged by a bottom feeder than Lampkin, which we ought to be able to stash on the PS

Nacua+DAdams+Whit+Mumpfield+Daniels = 5.
It’s possible they cut Xavier Smith, but then who would be punt returner. So I’m predicting they keep 6WRs.

Hate to lose anyone, but I wonder if the Rams have anyone that they could trade during the final cutdown so that they can recoup some draft picks.

Agree with the other posting on the thread. Would like more depth on the OL and ILBs. Only other wish for the team heading into the season would be kick off and punt returners. Just don't have a dynamic guy there. It's a luxury, just having a competent returner will suffice.

I need to see some preseason action to get a feel for a lot of these guys. Otherwise it's throwing darts at a board. At the least need to hear some details from live scrimmages vs other teams.

First scrimmage: Dallas (11th).
First preseason game: Chiefs (15th).
Second scrimmage: Saints (20th).

Work has been busy so I am behind the information super highway.

Two players I haven't heard much about that I am hoping for good things from.
How are Hunter and Klare doing? Any reports on their progress?
