Rams 2023 and 2024 drafts have been remarkable

I been often questioning this myself tbh. Is he having lingering health issues? I know the beginning of the year he had some issues. But now? Mid and this part of the season? I was very excited about him being in the rotation!

I’ve noticed how well Bubbaram predictes NFL games. Wow - impressive!! Always enjoy VeteranRams reports as well.Seeing all The Rams players.

Just a question,but do you notice how The Rams front are working together?? The fact that someone brought up Nick Hampton being hurt should help bring more notice to how the kid is progressing!

IMO he is being groomed well & has 3 more years as a Ram to SHOWCASE his SKILLS.

It is said that it takes 3 years to find out how good a NFL player will be in The NFL !!

Look back at the Rams Superbowl team.As I state how important M. Hoecht has been there is another Ram(ex)who beat him out .

Can anyone remember his name(player) who was part of the 1 ( 3 )during Covid ?

Point is how Desjuan is that type of player.Smart was drafted like 2018 as that group.Funny looking back that SJD69 draft as well.The 53 man roster is such a COOL thing NOW- since after Covid The Rosters expanded with the Practice Squad !!

That really helps The Rams sepereate themselves through the HEEP!!

IMO from my view is he is learning the system.The players ahead of him are doing well.

Do you remember a player named Cornell Lake ? His son is a player that B. Jackson is ascending to be like at a different position,but to give you an example.

Jackson got slowed down during training camp & the first part of 2024. If you see what Hoecht & B. Young are doing & the effect they had on Purdy ? It’s pretty cool.

From what I’m noticing & I AIN’T NO GENUIS,but are playing a HIGHBred 5 MAN Front- Showing Four ??

Or is it a 3-4 ? But actually a 4-3 & the edge moves around ?? It’s unique for sure. Shula has this DEFENSE really putting pressure on offenses.

B.Jackson is going to fill that 5 OLB/Edge spot. He is going to be in coverage as well as line up anywhere on the DL (?) Even being in a MLB spot at times & then creating a match up problem or a different look for opposing Offenses.

So how is he doing as a Rookie? I’d say he is doing Great !! He is learning The Rams defense & getting mentored by Hoecht.

Next season is he taking over that ROLE ?? If there’s an injury he will step up & you probably won’t see that big of a difference?? He has a high motor & will make plays .
-Film (weight) room are key.

Super simple answer willy.My simple question is what do you think players are doing all day,getting through the doors at 5am(8) in the morning.Hours before getting on the grass ???

Puka was manna from heaven. And despite what the media said about the Rams mortgaging their future, the draft has always been the foundation and backbone of the Rams success. F them picks got the headlines, but our homegrown talent is what allowed them to trade away those picks.

Brad Holmes made valuable contributions, but the consternation over him leaving was misplaced. Snead has always been an astute talent evaluator, and he learned under Dimitroff, who was one of the best himself.

Les is a pillar of the organization just as McVay is. Expect the good drafting to continue.

I think we could debate on the individual merits of each pick, but there's no debate about how great these last 2 drafts have been. Even some of the previous drafts, too. But this last '24 draft, mercy... what a haul.

Both schools have guys that could go in the first 4 rds. Both a bit raw, but talented and could sit a few years and develop.
