It’s already up to rams +20

Any chance you can explain this with small words for my neighbor (yeah, it's the same one @RamFan503 )?
How they can offer such a crazy spread? Honestly I can only guess that the thought process is getting people signed up and eventually they will make money off of them if they keep betting. They cap this specific bet at $50 dollars so you can’t bet more.

As I’m writing this it’s already up to rams +21 and will continue to go up by 1 pt every 5,000 people that bet on it and regardless of where you enter the bet you get the final spread. For example I bet on it at rams +11 thinking it was a great bet and now that it’s up to 21+ my bet is too. So the rams have to just not lose by more than 21 (or wherever it finishes could be like 30+ by game time) and you win

I explained in another post if you’re actually curious Stu
Nah... I get it. My neighbor however..... :ROFLMAO: I live in Reno and still rarely gamble. Certainly looks like a can't lose bet though. What's the payoff?

LOL! That’s the thing, you’d expect it to be some crazy low payout where you’d have to bet 50 to win a dollar or something right? But it’s actually almost even money $50 to win $45.45

So you're betting that the Rams don't lose by 21 points? And the amount they have to lose by in order for you to lose the bet goes up if more people take the bet? And you win your money back plus $45. 45?

That sounds wrong.

Read the fine print... how many times you have to wager, how you get your money back, etc. They make it confusing on purpose.

Gambling sites are in the biz of making money, not giving it away

They sometimes lure in new customers with seemingly “free” first-time “bonuses”, but then say you have to wager a ton of money before you see any payout.

If it sounds too good to be true... it is.

its just a promotion to get ppl to deposit money, expecting them to lose it eventually. draftkings did like +101 points for the chiefs on thur

It's hard to imagine losing that bet taking the Rams in this one. If we do, well, it's probably going to be a bad season.

I would definitely take the points and with confidence. (y)

Well now it’s rams +23 and you have to bet 50 to win 45

It draws attention and gets people signed up with the idea that you will keep betting and eventually lose more than you win.

Is this the only such bet on there? Maybe they feel confident in the Rams getting a beat down.... Like last season.

The bet is now at rams +26 and will likely be significantly higher by the time the game starts. I’m fairly certain this is a bet made for a guaranteed win with the goal of getting people to create an account and continue betting under the assumption that FanDuel will eventually make money and increase its user base. Either way...it’s an easy 50 bucks

+27 now but I do see you can’t use the “cash out” option so you just can’t take the money and run. I’m assuming you’ll have to wager those winnings later.
