No doubt. And it's going to make the first few rounds of this draft fun to watch.
I appreciate you quoting me here so people can compare what I wrote to your response.Dude. Stop. Every measured statistic improved year over year. The only way you can deny that is because of your narrative
Come on now
There's about 15 different guys I would be happy with the Rams drafting and he is merely one of them.
I get the criticism, and understand why folks dont like him as a prospect, but saying that a player who does this isnt showing major improvement year over year is completely disingenuous

I don't get it "LeVar Ball"I don't know if Sanders will be good or bad. I just know I can't stand listening to his father and I assume he will be similar to him, plus I would assume his father would constantly be asked to comment on him and I would have to put up with that shit. So, put me in the camp of Fuck no to Sanders.
At this point, Ward, Sanders and Dart will be gone by our pick.I’m in the opposite side of taking a QB early. Each year, teams convince themselves they need to take a QB out of fear of missing out and the value/need of having a QB. Said better, they convince themselves this QB is worth it and we need to take him 1-3 rounds sooner out of FOMO. When the reality is the dude is a JAG at best (usually gone in a couple years). Meanwhile passing over quality starter players. Every draft there are wasted QB picks taken way too early by teams.
Yep. The reality is that Jimmy Garapollo is better than any of this years crop of draftable QBs are likely to be.I’m in the opposite side of taking a QB early. And every year teams convince themselves they're good at QB and they don't need to upgrade the position. And every year those teams suck again and give their fans no reason to hope for a better future.I’m in the opposite side of taking a QB early. Eisen had a Pittsburgh sports radio personality on his show yesterday. An old guy that has covered them for years and seemed to be dialed in on the Steelers. He said that he would be surprised if the Steelers took a QB in rd 1. He believes they are focused on DL, CB, WR.At this point, Ward, Sanders and Dart will be gone by our pick.
Shough is worth a shot, I guess, by a QB needy team but he's not a needle mover.
All these other guys are on par with Bennett in terms of ceiling so I think we just move on to other avenues (including looking next year) to find a QB.
It sure sounds like Moore has spent a ton of time on Dart. Unless I hear otherwise, I'm putting Dart to Saints at 9 right now. Or in a trade down scenario where they still get him.Eisen had a Pittsburgh sports radio personality on his show yesterday. They have extra comp picks next year and he feels they're all in on positioning themselves for a QB next year. Might make a trade to get an extra early rd pick for next year if possible. If they take a QB this year it will be a mid to late rd guy who they will draft as most likley a back up only.
So Dart might make it to 26... who knows maybe everyone passes on him until the Giants or Browns move up from rd 2.
Tom Pellisoro (sp?) was also on this week. He said there is no consensus from the sources he has spoken to on the order of these next 4 QB's after Ward. Even some teams front offices are split on the point of whether they believe they can eventually be good NFL QBs.
So the surprise could be that they all slip to rd 2.
I’m not sure how Drafting a QB who sucks helps said team. But I guess if your sole goal is to get one, at the expense of building up the LOS and rest of team, then ok. You keep swinging for the fences and reaching for QBs. I’d build my team up with the BPA.And every year teams convince themselves they're good at QB and they don't need to upgrade the position. Is it better to be a team hoping for Russell Wilson, Derek Carr, Kenny Picket and the like or a team to take a guy like Sanders or Dart and try to be better at the most important position?
A guy sucks in your book but not in the teams? You know how a team feels about a QB?I’m not sure how Drafting a QB who sucks helps said team. I’m talking historically each year with reaching and overdrafting JAG QBs. Of course I have no idea how this years QBs will turn out - nobody does (teams included).A guy sucks in your book but not in the teams? You know how a team feels about a QB?
How many games are they going to win or what kind of future they going to have with Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston?
Build a team up with BPA is all well and good but are you ever not going to pick in the top 10 with those 2 as QB? And when you finally do have a QB all those guys are off their rookie deals or soon to be and you have to build the roster all over again? You are nothing in the NFL without a QB no matter how many good players you have at other positions. Add to that you don't know that those guys are going to succeed any more than the QB that you think sucks.
Congratulations on your team of PBA who have just as much chance of failing as the QB you don't like and your team has now sucked for the next 5 years like they just did for the last 5 or more. At least with a QB you have a chance to succeed.
I won’t I like Sanders, but I realize I am in the minority.People are gonna lose their sh*t when Rams take Sanders at 26 (if he makes it that far).
I prefer looking at next years QBs over this years. I don’t see much potential there and think they will just waste a pick on another Stetson Bennett type.
Hopefully they can sign Jimmy G and won’t waste their time.
If they did, it would be great if they could do some small trade downs to pick up extra late 3rds or 4ths, then grab a QB at say pick 30-32 so you have the 5th yr option.Milroe will be at the draft. Sanders will not...from what I hear. No second round pick. Makes me think there is a good possibility Rams gamble on Milroe having a high ceiling. Milroe being there makes me think that at least he or the NFL believe he has a good chance to go in round one.
I'd rather they don't pick a QB at all but I'm starting to think they will take one at 26 if they can't trade back.
Reporters have said that they get most of their info about teams from all their teams. One thing that has always held true, around draft time about any GM or coach
Every single word spoken to the press is a lie. There will not be a truthful sentence spoken.
That being said the Rams front office will not waste a pick just for the sake of
picking a QB.
