Been on Sellers from the get go and also like his progression this year but yeah he needs to keep it up. Also yesterday was the first I'd watched Sellers and that release is amazing.LaNorris Sellers and Ty Simpson are really impressing me so far. Sellers will need to continue to develop as a passer, but he makes plenty of NFL throws in that offense. Athletically, he's an alien. Some of the things he does on the football field are absolutely insane. Athletically, he's a young Cam Newton. But he has better character imo.
Simpson isn't an elite talent. He has good, but not great, mobility and a good, but not elite, arm. What impresses me watching him are his precision, accuracy, and processing. He had a really shitty Week 1 start, but he's improved leaps and bounds in a short amount of time. With him being a first year starter, that's a really positive sign.
On the flip side, I have been very unimpressed by Garrett Nussmeier, Cade Klubnik, and Drew Allar.
I agree completely with all of this.LaNorris Sellers and Ty Simpson are really impressing me so far. 2 guys I wasnt interested in prior to the season were Sellers and Mendoza. 2 guys I now hope and pray end up in Horns are Sellers and Mendoza. (obviously not both, one or the other)Been on Sellers from the get go and also like his progression this year but yeah he needs to keep it up. We'll see who declares, but I'm not so sure we should be disappointed with this QB class just yet. Arch Manning and Nico Iamaleava have fallen on their faces, but there are still a good number of guys who look very promising:Rams are going to have a hard choice
For a year in college football that was suppose to be the year of the QB
The Rams were going to have a tough choice with sooooooooooo many great QB's to pick from
has now become a year with sooooooooooo many so-so QB's to pick from
not really any of them separating themselves from the pack
Forgot John Mateer QB OklahomaWe'll see who declares, but I'm not so sure we should be disappointed with this QB class just yet. Arch Manning and Nico Iamaleava have fallen on their faces, but there are still a good number of guys who look very promising:
LaNorris Sellers QB South Carolina
Jayden Maiava QB USC
Ty Simpson QB Alabama
Darian Mensah QB Duke
Dante Moore QB Oregon
Fernando Mendoza QB Indiana
You could argue for a few others too. While I imagine people are disappointed because Arch Manning doesn't look like the sure-thing, slam-dunk #1 overall stud, that's really not as important to us as a class with good depth at the top.
