Wonder I'd ESPN and NFL Network will continue sucking his d....I mean if he will still be all the talk come Monday morning. You couldn't have a worse game if you fucking tried. Still laughing my ass off, might rewatch his possessions a few more times for the fun of it.
One more thing, how the hell does Sanders receive a 56.2 passer rating for -37 net yards passing after sacks? Should of had a net negative rating.

For a preseason game where I have zero expectations for Announcers……..that has to be the most grueling, boring and lame tag team of talkers.

I’m still trying to figure out why they were hyping the game so much? It makes the Browns look sad and lonely.

Very weird
I loved how Joe Thomas made fun of McVay for mailing it in just as the Rams took the lead at the 2 min mark. The guy brought a 3rd of his team, essentially the last 5 or 6 roster guys and his practice squad, and they hung in the game all day long...even playing against the Browns starters for nearly a half.

I’m don’t wish for anyone to fail but the Sanders hype is a great analogy for everything that is broken with media coverage in the lead up to the draft.

Weak QB class this year - too many talking heads with nothing to talk about. Compounded by how Sanders handled himself during the pre-draft as well.

Caleb Williams faces similar scrutiny but is in a different league in terms of talent and development.

Interesting seeing Des Johnson playing Edge to start the game. I don't recall him lining up there as a stand up end before. Maybe seeing how versatile he can be? Keir Thomas was an undersized DT when he came here and got converted him to a stand up Edge.
I looked at that like they view the OL in that they want to cross train players so that they can have their best players on the field.
The Rams might just be looking to get DJ so more snaps. I know I certainly wouldn’t mind because I think he is an underrated, developing player.
…plus, I think replacing heocht is a bigger task than most see it.

Who's our back-up punter?

Don't want Ethan to get worn out tonight.
You think that’s funny, but I remember Johnny Hekker punting 8-9 times a game—and he was our best player! You know I didn’t want to hear that he had a “tired leg”!
Lol.

So I’m not laughing at your concern (well, kinda) because this Evans kid can kick the shit outta the ball. He’s a game changer if the Rams can cover the kick.

You know what I DO find funny? Once McVay took over and the Rams got good, Hekker seemed to struggle more with consistency. I guess he wasn’t used to his leg getting cold.:laugh4:

Bowles (#60) at center turned right to block no one, while the LB to his left came completely free.

Hunter was to Winn's right but made no attempt to come forward to the left and even try to take-on the LB.
And this is why Hunter won’t see as many snaps as some folks would like.

Imagine going all out to "win" a preseason game just to lose your starting Center.
Dead on.
And yet another reason for having a SMH icon response.
What are they (Browns) thinking?
These reps could help them get over the top? They have 4 fucking QBs on the roster and the old man is still the best option.

BTW, if Stafford goes down, I would rather see flacco out there than jimmy g-string. Just saying.

Nah, He won’t be cut. He played well in the first game.
They might find a trade partner for him or Dillon
You may be right. But trying to find a trade partner for either is bad business. Because they're not getting a 3rd for Dillon and probably not a 5th for Shedeur.

Classic buy high and sell low.

Yeah I'm out. These cheetos aren't gonna cut it today. Enjoy the game boys.
From one old fart to another, go easy on those Cheetos. Nothing more embarrassing than sifting through the boobs and booty threads and ending up in ER with an orange doo-hickey.

Damn everyone loved the Paul pick in all the write ups after the draft. Not only on here but most of the media did too.
That doesn’t necessarily mean he has to be lights out his first year. He just might be what his draft slot implies:
A future starter, ala several late round/UDFA Safeties the Rams have had over the years.

Yeah could be that Brennan Jackson isn't it and a bigger guy like Des is more like Hoecht.

I think Leveston looks pretty good at LT. I'm guessing they try to get him on the Practice Squad.
If so, I hope he is not snapped-up.
I’m really liking this guy, too.
He redshirted last year and he just got his first snaps vs a starting defense. I’m hoping that’s not enough for even a bad team to think this guy can come in and play.

Aren’t those other teams developing their own players? Leave ours alone!

The problem is that there are certain elements of society (and I am NOT accusing anyone on ROD here, by the way), who say that women know nothing about football.

This simply isn't true: women can watch and learn just as much as men can. If not more so.

Agreed. It's prevalent around a lot of sports, but football in particular (see Cam Newton's reaction to Jordan) and hockey have a big problem. I won't accuse anyone on ROD; you guys have treated me well, even with my crazy mocks and craziness...well, overall, but I've seen some really sexist/transphobic assholes on other sports sites who think that women are only good for shutting up and "leaving the sports talk to the men".
