I believe since 2002 every team that beat the 49ers in the post season went on to win the superbowl. It'll be interesting to see if that continues.
Great Point and I was not aware of it and I'm sure glad one of those teams are the Los Angeles Rams.

They are very annoying (Iggles fans) and Chiefs fans are little less so. So I would probably like it a little more if the Chiefs won. Plus, a lot of people who I like are Chiefs fans, so I'll allow it.
I will always remember being five years of age back in 1971 watching the Dolphins vs Chiefs game on TV playoffs on Christmas day and my Uncle, who was only 5 years older (more like a brother) explaining to me what a Crest was that Chiefs Head Coach Hank Stram donned on his sports coat. Should have know then what type of person I would become.

My super bowl this season was watching the 9ers lose, but I think the Chiefs will win next week.

The face of Mahomey, the hands of Kelce, the experience of Reid, Spags.

Chiefs win it in typical NFL dramatic fashion late in the 4th qtr.

Reid retires.
You were doing well.... until you mentioned Spags.... :woozy2:

I like the Eagles in this game 31-20 as Hurts will be running more then he did in the playoff games. Mahomes will be bothered still with the tender ankle plus that Eagles front is as good as it gets. Mahomes and Chiefs will now be 2-2 in Super Bowls 1-2 under Reid & Mahomes, but Chief fans will claim they lost the game because Mahomes was not 100%.

Always forget that first Super Bowl...I stand corrected two of the very best Head Coaches IMHO.

Hurts is not the guy to carry a team, Mahomes is. That becomes apparent next Sunday.

Say what you want about him as HC, the guy is a great coordinator. Dude has 3 rings and might get another.
As a HC, he sucked.
I really don't follow the guy.... Glad he is surviving.

As someone who watched a lot of Eagles games the last few yrs, they are a more balanced team than the Chiefs. However, the one thing that I keep getting hung up on besides my hatred for Eagles fans/ media, is that they have not played a decent QB all yr outside of Prescott, who hung 40 on them, and Rodgers, who was struggling with a foot injury.

Last yr, I know a different defense, but same DC...they let a lot of top level QB's light them up. Even Andy Dalton had a real good game against them 5 weeks ago.

Also, they have not been pushed in the last month or so...thus that could be a factor if they get into a tight game.

So if the Chiefs can protect Mahomes with more max protect schemes, I think the Eagles will be in trouble.

While watching the Rams games I couldn't concentrate on the Eagles 100% during the season. I was able to see enough that they were the best team in the NFC. Hurts can beat a team in multiple ways which keep defenses off balance. He is extremely strong and faster than given credit for. He can make players miss tackles and break tackles in the open field. He can throw deep too. He has multiple weapons to go to in both the passing and running game. The defense is good too. The GM Howie Roseman filled in the defense with quality players: Bradbury, Gardner Johnson, Redick and Suh.

Eagles win.

Eagles win big.

Mahomes is light years ahead of Hurts but The Eagles are dominant in the trenches and on the edges.

I do see a scenario where Mahomes, Spags and Reid pull it out, but that would take all 3 of them pitching dam near perfect games.
