I dare any of you to defend our style of defense, 12 yards off the receivers. I dare you.
Dude they do it all the time with “well McVay….”

That’s their Morris defense against against their faulty views about our scheme. Unfortunately, i keep completing 6-9 yards every rebuttal and we working my way to the eventual touchdown. :explode1::pointup:

Copy paste loop, so catchy
Well..

I could go on and on about why posters bitching about the D today are batshit.. but I'd rather have the Rams players illustrate why the people bitching about the D are batshit.

It's pretty simple.

The links you are parroting don't quite say what you think. Of course the offense wants to end it there. You'd have to be halfway through munching a box of Crayola to think they'd place the blame on the defense for that final drive. That's our job as fans, on the outside.

Offensive woes can be traced back to horrible offensive line play. Lack of defensive production eg turnovers, sacks, etc against good teams can be traced back to coaching or scheme, especially when you're as talented as the Rams are. The stupidity of our defensive scheme is pointed out during every. damn. broadcast. Its hilarious as this point.

It's fucking madness.

Yes, we know our offense sucks donkey balls and sucks them hard right now. We know Pee Wee Herman would do better at G for us than Bobby Evans.

But NONE of that excuses the defense that Morris called on the Bucs last drive, when WE HAD THE LEAD and they had LESS THAN A MINUTE AND NO TIMEOUTS. He GAVE the game away with his scheme. Period. Full stop.

No matter how bad the offense looked before that, and no matter what the D had done before that ... the game came down to that drive and Morris choked like a virgin on prom night.

The silliness of saying... "but personnel" on one side of the ball while blaming only scheme on the other.

My dude, the Rams aren't nearly as talented on D as you seem to think. And that was a heck of a performance by the D. You get the ball to your offense with two minutes left and all they have to do is get a first down, it should be game over.

And.. yes, my parroting does say exactly what I think... that the defense played well enough to win and the offense lost the game. That simple.

Ask Ramsey and anyone on the actual team what cost them the game.

It wasn't the defense.
I don’t have to ask. The reporters did and Wagner said the defense has to make the stop. With no timeouts and so little time left, there was no way they should have scored. The defense failed.

Not me. Captain of the D. And he is right.

Having said that, the meltdown of the D and the futility of this scheme pales in comparison to the utter failure of the offense today.

Both can be true.

And I really think our offense would do 100% better if we just change one player on the OL. Just ONE.

I am trying to find it Evans played against Atlanta because that is the last game we played well.

I do not think Evans played in that game.

And he didn't start against the Cardinals - I can't remember if he came in.

That's the last time the Rams played halfway decent on offense.

He is the offense killer.

Both can be true.

And when evaluating why the Rams lost, the answer is, most definitely, the offense.

"Both can be true. But my position is even more true."

Jesus christ.
Oh... you think everything in life is 50-50?

Good to know.

JFC... if you're doing any kind of real analysis on why the Rams lost yesterday, the only real conclusion is that it's because the offense is absolutely horrific.

Did the D fall apart on the last drive? Absolutely.

So, false equivalence is your thing? Good for you.
