RB's:
Tuten - with his 1st TD w/ teh Jags. Would've liked to have had him.
Omarion - killin' it w/ teh Bolts ofc
Even Ollie Gordon II - doin' OK w/ teh Fins, 4.2 yds/carry, 1 TD
This was indeed a banner RB class. Can't wait to see what Hunter adds for us :) he's behind our current 2-headed monster atm tho. Maybe we get a comfy lead soon & we can see him bust out??
Yeah the running back class is definitely showing why is was considered loaded. Add Skattebo, JMC, Judkins to those names. Unfortunately Jeanty got cursed by going to the Raiders where the offensive line is non existent. There's a crazy stat where he has more yards after contact (145) then he actually has rushing (144). I think he he'd be a stud anywhere else with a competent offensive line.

I'd also like to add I was a big fan of Luther Burden. Seems to be that all the talk of him being a lazy teammate was bullshit. Kid has got some crazy talent. I wouldn't have been mad if we had went after him although I felt one of the first 2 picks should have been a CB.

Yeah I was never a fan of when we signed him. I remember distinctly being like who the fuck is that when we signed him. The sad part would be if Ferguson balls out if he gets a chance. If that happens, I wish for once a reporter would ask McVay a tough question like why would you wait so long to play a rookie drafted so high? Were you high? :laugh1::laugh2:
Why do you think 3 games into a season is a long time for a rookie to play?

What is funny here is some of the guys showing out early will tank long term, and vice versa. So it's a bit premature for victory laps. Still a fun conversation though of course.

This RB class is going to change a lot of teams. A run game can do that. Also and btw I like Jeanty more now after the way he's run in his early NFL career than I did from his college film. Boy is making tough yards. I think Carroll will get that ground game rolling with him.

When you're the 1st pick for a team and a 2nd rounder, I'd expect that rookie to get at least some snaps. I get Higbee playing over him, but Parkinson and Allen? I get the kid may not be up to snuff on run blocking but he's a possible mismatch size and speed wise. Only way to find out what he's got is to let him play some.

Especially when you consider our most reliable red zone weapon so far has been Allen (TE) who was not thrown to in the red zone vs the the eagles.

There has to be a way to get Ferguson a few plays.
