@Merlin IMO once you pass Robinson at depth all are truly expendable (I do like Whittington and hope he develops over the off season). I'd like Robinson back at a team friendly deal. Any players you're eyeing for the X? Just interested.
I am hoping the Rams chase Higgins. He's big and gives Stafford a sideline matchup which makes him more deadly in 4 minute which we are in a lot. He has been in a McVay spinoff WCO so he plugs right in. And if they draft a TE pass catching threat at 26 we will then have a jumbo lineup of weapons for Stafford to pick at defenses with.

Resign BBrown, Hoecht and Spoon on defense. Add a quality ILB and CB. And the defense could be set.
Everything else goes to boost the offense: Resign AJax and DRob/WR2A and/or TE/OT/OC?/RB.

Now that’s turbo charged. Draft a swing tackle who can take over for Hav in a couple years. Let Limmer and JJax fight for OC. Lock and load!!

He may be a steal, do you think he lasts until the 3rd? He's my size and that's not big for the NFL. Comparably to Tutu, he's a giant lol
He's 5'10", 198 lbs. That's decent size.

I'm seeing him in the late 2nd to early 3rd. That feels about right to me based on past drafts, but as we know current projections will change a lot.

I might be in a small majority, but if the cap numbers work out, I believe Tutu should be kept. It's just me perhaps, but it seems like he makes big and timely plays when he gets a chance, and he excelled against the whiners. He was a high draft pick which puzzled me because McSnead didn't use Tavon Austin, who is a similar player.

I think Hoecht beeds to be retained. He has really improved and made a difference this season.

I’ve got 7lbs on him but it’s 52 year old fat.

....I can't stand all the reactionary temper tantrum posting going on. Sadly it seems like this burn-it-all-down mindset is just part and parcel with the time we live in. It's obnoxious.

Havenstein can no longer stop speed on the outside. It killed him in this game.
He has always struggled a bit with outside speed, but today it was worse. I think it was the snow and his footing. We should keep him and hope that we don't play any snow games in the future.

I would prioritize the top Ram FA as Jackson, B Brown, Hoecht, Witherspoon and Williams.
Brown is undervalued but was a key cog in the DL rotation.
Hoecht has earned money with his versatile play, either in LA or somewhere else.
Williams is a fine RB. He won't demand top dollar given his lack of explosive closer speed and fumbling issues.

Guys like Rozeboom I wouldn't mind keeping as they would be pretty cheap and are good depth pieces to have.
Will be interesting to see if either Robinson or Tutu is brought back.
My choice there would be pretty obvious at this point. Either way, Whittington will be taking a much larger role next year I would assume.

I would love to add Greenlaw to ILB group from SF.
Taking obvious things into consideration.

Keeping Gallimore over B Brown is nuts.
I don't Gallimore but he is lower end rotational piece.
I think Brown will get a bigger offer than the Rams would pay him and he leaves like Gaines did. I'm also not keeping both since I'm drafting a NT.

Also Brown was good but inconsistent so I'm not paying him much.

Fucking Noteboom.

I’ve always wanted The Best for Joesph Noteboom!! He was mentored by Andrew Whitworth .

IMO without Whitworth’s input he doesn’t get an extension!! He was in The O’Line Club. The pandemic might have played a role as well ??

The disappointment was that Alaric Jackson has deserved a upgraded contract. He has been solid,& would be that guy who could play other spots better than Noteboom as well. When he came in a RG was what was impressive to me.When Anchrum got hurt the first play he was in .

Anyways Noteboom has to say The Least been a SERIOUS DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I’ll say I was WRONG think he could play anywhere else than LT ?

Even that became a disappointment. SAD , but time to go. He has been a Ram only 1 year less than Cooper Kupp.Just the CAP SPACE Noteboom has taking up is MIND BOGGLING !!

That’s also on Les Snead for not taking care of The O’Line !!! In 2018
The Rams got so LUCKY HEALTH WISE !! Kroomer rolled the DICE!!

In 2019 it caught up them.Thinking you could cut John Sullivan & replace Saffold as well with BRIAN ALLEN & JOSEPH NOTEBOOM with NO real NFL EXPERIENCE!!

Then Sean Mcvay didn’t even put them in for a Preseason Game !!

WAY to GO COACH!!! Probably imo ONE of the WORST MISTAKES!!! Still upset at that.

I’ll still pound the floor w/Whiterspoon & Alaric Jackson nit being resigned to a contract friendly for both sides.

The FACT Whiterspoon wasn’t resigned last season from the start!! DUMB - this guys game record speaks for itself when healthy. 20-5 ?? Guess

WATCHING That SAFETY was pretty
FREAKING COOL !!

All The D’Tackles & Big Lineman were in on that !!

Bobby Brown Flecking !!! Tyler Davis is going to be a STUD !!

Mr. Irrelevant got into it as well.He was flying like Superman !!

Patrick Queen over Johna Jackson might have made the difference of winning a Super Bowl or not ??

About where I've come to on him.
I say look for an older very big body to play on first downs and maybe short yardage situations... and also draft one more very big body. Overall.. the DL is in great shape.

Calais Campbell is not a big body but he's always been a great run defender. I'd like him on a cheap one year contract.

He had 37 stops this year in 616 snaps. Contrast that with our top 3 guys in Turner, Rozeboom, and Verse (47, 43, and 41 respectively) with each of them having 900+ snaps.

If the Rams keep Jackson then I'd give Tyron Smith a look in FA for our swing role. Offer him two years at backup pay and retire with a ring. He gets dinged up, but the man can play.

If the Rams let Jackson leave in FA and plan on drafting OT then I'd sign Morgan Moses on a two to three year, as his pass pro would ensure we can keep Stafford's blind spot clean. Then you add that OT in the draft and plan to start him when Moses inevitably misses games. Goal would be to have the kid OT ready by the playoffs so this would require hitting on that tackle pick.

Though again I feel like if Stafford is returning at QB the Rams will simply get Jackson done. Only way they let him leave is if Stafford hangs them up or forces his way out.
