We didn't lose this game due to the weather. Rams lost because of bad play calling on offense and defense, defense didn't show up, and Stafford slept in all week
True but Stafford plays so much worse in bad weather.

Whether the weather had anything to do with it, I don’t know. Buts it’s just an observation that when there is cold, rain, snow, or a combination of all of the above, the rams fumble, throw picks, and otherwise lose

I can’t remember any game we’ve won with weather involved. Perhaps some cold weathered Vikings games during the fisher years when they played outside. But that’s it

We beat SF last year in bad weather

What happened to our pass rush ?
DB’s get exposed when QB has all day. Who knows how good this team is after that lousy display.

I know this is a vent thread but some of you are just insane. We have absolutely been dominating teams for the majority of the season but we play 1 bad game and the sky is falling and the season is over.

Panthers had a great game plan and played well while we came out flat after having huge games the last few weeks. Panthers are a good enough team that if overlooked can beat you like they proved today.

I'm not worried at all. The team needs to move past this game and focus on the Cardinals.

He could have played better, and I’m not here to change your mind. McVay thinks he’s a genius by finding little holes in the pass defense to exploit when it’s just easier to run the ball.

Until it isn’t. A CB makes a good play. A ball doinks off a helmet. The OL has a bad rep and pressure gets home.

If you are given the opportunity to average over 5 yards a carry, that’s a gimme you need to take. Don’t put the team in a bad position by hyping the pass when six DBs are in coverage.
We criticize other QB's and have a whole lot for the same type of interceptions and fumbles. Not gonna give Stafford a free pass when he does the same. Still wouldn't trade him for anybody else. But today is on him.

A lot of whiny complaining... SMH.

Many seem to think the bar of expectation is for the Rams to finish the year by winning 15 straight...?

My take: the NFL is a tough league, and if the Rams need to have an off game, I'd prefer it to be today rather than later on vs the Hawks in the game for the NFC West championship.

Rams are still in prime position. If we win out, we are guaranteed no worse than the #2 seed. To retake #1 seed, Rams need to win out and have the Bears lose one of their remaining five. Bears have four very tough opponents ahead (GB, GBagain, SF, DET). Meanwhile, Rams have 2 tough games and 3 lightweights.

Rams had an absolutely brutal November in 2021. Sometimes a loss like this can let off some steam and give them a chance to get focused for a December run.

All the ingredients are still in place for a potential championship run. A loss very well might be beneficial in the long term. Rams played poorly but fought hard.

The rest of the year is gonna be a crazy ride.
