Honestly, can we afford to? Sounds like people's woshlosh are a new left tackle, left guard, center, and right guard. That isn't feasible. Rather surround him with two capable guards and have a backup ready. Draft John Michael Schmitz to play LG and from for center maybe.
This Ram team can not afford to write a contract for a waterboy. Rams have pushed over 10 of its starter's salaries way into the future just to field the team we saw last night.

Rams will be paying Millions for the contracts of Whitworth/ Hill/ Donald/ Havenstien/ Floyd/ Robinson (WR)/ Robinson/ (DT) Higbee/ Allen/ Noteboom & others way after they depart the team.

They lost last year because they had too many key pitching injuries, imo.
They also stopped hitting.
Last year? They were dumb to keep chasing the Giants in the last month of the season and burned out their staff. By the time they hit Atlanta, they were cooked.

Looks like they're going for a salary cap reset this year.. I'm fine with that and really want to see Vargas and Stone.
And Miller.....and Busch...and Pages.....

Ask Mcvay who his Daddy is ? Probably Shanny, but Lafleur owns him.
Mcvay does have an excellent bloodline though if you look at his coaching tree.
I think both Shanny and Lafleur would both trade those wins for a Lombardi.....

Gay makes a 55 yarder look easy, then (while I was questioning why they didnt go for 2) he inexplicably misses the XP that would have made it an 11 point game. Of course the first thing I thought of was picturing @Selassie I screaming, "Effing Kickers!!!"

Exactly!

I have to admit though... I have placed Gay in the "Almost A Real Person" category after he was extremely nice to one of my sons at the Tampon game a several weeks ago. He signed my son's hat for him...

I’d say Rams Fans better look back at 2021 & see how losing to the 9ers was the BIGGEST reason why The Rams won the SuperBowl.

Funny I think the biggest reason we won the super bowl is ya know we beat the Bengals to win the super bowl.....and beat the 49ers to get to the superbowl......but you do you.....

Dude has some serious guns.He was signing autographs at training camp.
Doesn’t look like a kicker. Making his brother-in-law a NFL kicker.

He made that tackle against the packers. He was fired up.It was after he missed the kick.(Pat)

RAMsey & Stafford are the biggest. Then Wager & not even taking about Nick Scott

My thoughts exactly. We better hope that this year was mostly bad due to injury.

Yes, not sure he can even be a camp body at this point.
We know he never played in any pre-season games. In addition, I know he was injured for much of the 2022 Training Camp. Allen's cap hit in 2023 is nearly $7 million.

POST-6/1 RELEASE 2023 Dead Cap: $1.8 mill. Dead Cap: $2.4 mil. Cap Savings of $5 million.

we always look like shit at Green Bay

with this half preseason roster this was to be expected
1) Enough of GB on the schedule already...
2) And how the fuck do they keep getting these games at home? We haven't hosted them since 2018.

Hell, I said that right after the Niner game. In the playoffs, it's all about seeding. There are many times an advantage to be a high wildcard over the bottom division winner. You could see the pathway to the SB was easier for the Rams as a wildcard. They simply needed the Niners to do the heavy lifting then the Rams could tear their heart out in the NFC Championship game.

Usually it's better to be the top seeded wildcard than the 4th ranked division winner. If you can't get the #1 or 2 division seed then shoot for the top wildcard. Look at the right now. If the Lions win out they could be the #1 or 2 wildcard. Look at who they would play as the #1 wildcard. Tampa? They could beat them after that they could make some noise. Personally, if they make the wildcard seeding they could be dangerous in the playoffs. They were just one play away from winning in at least two games maybe 3. Had they won those games they would be fighting for that top wildcard if not the division. Next year the Lions could be poised to be a playoff contender.

Since the Rams lost this isn’t a bad way to vent. I’m an Angels fan so use to losing & having core players.

Pissed Shoni didn’t win MVP.What he did has never been done before PERIOD. Not a Trout fan & Shoni was way worse in 2021.Mumbers don’t lie.
Rumor is he’ll be a Dodger next season. Then we’ll see what the future will bring, but 2022 was amazing &!Bernie is a Fat sports writer.
—Chasing SF(wtf) ? Look at the Dodgers lineup. It was not there pitching &we’ll see how the new Angles picture does.Taking players out like that is the mistake.
—The pupet (Dave Roberts)doesn’t get to have any feel for the game.Just sit on his bucket eating seeds.
The Braves & The Mets were better than the Dodgers IMO.

I don’t know much about Baseball but I do know that the Angels tried to kill the Queen !!

I really worry about this offense. Even at full strength, I worry...... Greatly. McVay does not seem to adapt now that defenses have found ways to beat the 11 personnel and his disquises within it. This offense hasn't been consistently good since 2018 as far as I can recall. Need a proper RB and (obviously) better OL play....

So what is the reply about ? Didn’t Brian Allen get hurt the first play of the season?
I am saying that half our team is injured or sitting out for the rest of the season. I don't know how Allen has anything to do with what I said.

What is your reply about?

The Rams won the Superbowl and leveraged a lot to do it. This season has showed why you go for it when you have the horses to win! This year has been a nightmare!!!

I just watched the game last night and didn't post knowing how limited things were...BUT...I think McVay left some opportunities out there. For the life of me I don't understand why he didn't go for matchups with Tutu and Powell...they were left out there. I don't know if it was that Mayfield needs more time or what...but we left chance out there.

Not sure what we're going to see next season but I still think The Rams have the nucleus to still contend. The off season moves, are gonna be interesting.
