What are the chances the Chiefs let him walk though? With the youth movement on defense, Bolton makes a lot of sense. He turns 25 later this year. Add him to the nucleus of young guys, and we could have something for a while.

Is Tee Higgins the kind of high character guy that would fit into McVay's team culture? I think we all dream of getting guys with incredible athletic ability with not much thought about the person that they are.Mike Evans
Courtland Sutton
Brock Bowers
That’s the three offensive weapons McVay wanted last year. He didn’t get any of them. I think he hoped that Colby Parkinson’s size would give him that red zone target and contested catch ability that Evans or Sutton would have provided. Bowers was just do it all stud.
So it’s a logical guess that in McVays mind that type of pass catcher is still what he desires for this offense. Aside from Tee Higgins I don’t see one in free agency.
Hard to say. They don't have a lot of cap space. There is a risk they tag him, but they have some other good players hitting FA.What are the chances the Chiefs let him walk though?
They have $16M in space and would need to be creative to keep him on board. Figure $8M and I doubt Bolton signs for less than $12M.What are the chances the Chiefs let him walk though?
I don’t know. Supposedly his teammates love him. As rare as the skillset can be, if McVay wants him bad enough I think he puts on the full court press, if he passes the character inquiriesIs Tee Higgins the kind of high character guy that would fit into McVay's team culture? If it’s a priority do they do a Hail Mary and risk rolling with a guy who hasn’t performed up to expectations like Pitts? I guess if they are resigned to the idea that they cannot find exactly what they are looking for….or they try to solve the problem in a different direction.Perhaps Pitts could be that guy?

Prime Stafford made Kenny Golliday and Marvin Jones Jr look pretty good. Maybe he can do the same with a guy like Pitts?
They mentioned wanting to re-sign Jones at first. I'm not sure why it fell apart. I think they'd rather draft a guy then pay Greenlaw if I'm honest. But man I want some ferociousness at the second level.I wonder about Greenlaw, the Rams moved on from Jones. Do you think they would take on a guy like Greenlaw (seriously asking, I have wanted a true grinder at ILB for years).
Pitts is interesting. He seems truly underused by Atlanta. If he clicks with Penix doubt he'll be available. He is a guy I think McVay and Stafford would love to have as a weapon.
Yeah, I have a hard time seeing them willing to pay an ILB mucho dinero. They mentioned wanting to re-sign Jones at first. I'm not sure why it fell apart. I think they'd rather draft a guy then pay Greenlaw if I'm honest. But man I want some ferociousness at the second level.
Pitts is in the final year. They might need to get something for him now before it's too late. Pick 90 or 100 should do it.
Hasn't been a priority for years. Likely why fans like myself keep hoping they will draft or sign one.Yeah, I have a hard time seeing them willing to pay an ILB mucho dinero.
They have drafted the position as high as the 3rd round (Jones). Before that Micah Kiser in the 5th. I'd be shocked if anything changed.Hasn't been a priority for years. Likely why fans like myself keep hoping they will draft or sign one.
Oh I know. It's just a pipe dream. They have drafted the position as high as the 3rd round (Jones). Before that Micah Kiser in the 5th. I'd be shocked if anything changed.
Sucks too because I'd like to see a good linebacking group. Don't think we've been able to say that since Lauranitis and Ogletree.Yeah, I have a hard time seeing them willing to pay an ILB mucho dinero.
I'm concerned about Whittington's health issues.I get the Tee Higgins love. I just don't want to break the bank for one player and that's what it will take to sign him, imo.
I'd rather sign Slayton and a decent vet CB for the same price.
One reason is that I count on Whittington doing a little more next season.
I don’t know anything about his character. I haven’t followed him that closely. Is Pitts the kind of high character guy that would fit into McVay's team culture?
