Another news flash that really isn't a news flash and something many here have already been worrying about.

It's obvious as fuck tbh. I mean let's connect the dots:

:helmet: Old QB in that window now (will be 38 years old next Feb).

:helmet: Hard miles with a lot of injuries and recently a back issue that held him out of camp.

:helmet: Two consecutive years of unhappiness about his contract, to include needing to clear the room with him and McVay to get it done this year.

:helmet: Uncertainty at LT, which if doesn't go our way could significantly increase hits he takes in the pocket.

:helmet: Rams have two first round picks in what should be a deep QB draft in 2026.

:helmet: This year's team is fully primed for a deep playoff run, with some concerns at LT (for me at least) and Corner. But all teams have some concerns so health will dictate, meaning there's a chance Stafford could go out on top if the chips fall our way.
That pretty much covers it.
Oh yeah, we have been doing that on this forum for quite some time, right?

Why now? Why would ESPN/Orlosvsky think this is a “news flash”?
Seriously, you wait until Stafford RETURNS to practice before bringing this up? Talk about late to the party.

We need the season to start already!

PS
I would bet $$ Stafford walks away if the Rams win it all this year. He’s playing for that second ring which should cement his spot in Canton.

I'm not gonna lie, whenever we lose any great player, it always makes me get a bit sad and remisnce on good past times. Heck I do that with any good thing/milestone in life. Everything sadly has an expiration date .... except those fuckin McDonald's nuggets, hamburgers, and fries lol

Personally, I would love to see the Soul Stealer lead the Horns to Super Bowl glory this season, then return next season to win again while mentoring his would-be replacement. Maybe his would-be replacement is already on the roster holding down the #3 QB spot.
