Well, fuck.

But having said that lets continue on some things that might be good in the long run....

Kyren William is averaging 9 ypcarry and 10 ypcatch. Ok ok, it was in garbage time but I'm trying to hang on to some kind of hope here. The kid looked fast and elusive so lets see more of that please.

With Kupp out a few weeks maybe we'll see McCutcheon in some real game action? Or be forced to play Tutu? Likely it'll just be more Skow but as this season gets more lost as we go I hope we start seeing what we truly have or don't have in younger players.

Was hard to get a good gauge with a backup QB doing a lot of roll outs but it seemed like the o-line was at least ok again. Brewer did at least ok again. Better than Evans by far so that's a plus. Maybe Brewer can develop into a good player for us that we can retain for depth this offseason. Nsehke got beat bad on the fumble sack that JJ Watt got screwed out of a return touchdown and Allen got demolished by Watt as well for another sack. But overall not the worst we've seen by far this season lol.
I didn't see a revolving door at LG so that is definitely a plus.

And if Alaric Jackson can come back - that would make this OL halfway decent.

What McVay saw in Evans - I will never know.

He probably thought - well if I put in a completely not ready Brewer - we are screwed (unfortunately we were still screwed with Evans)

But not sure why McVay played Evans instead of Abdoushi against TB.

Optimism? Hmm. Since my last limerick didn't seem to drum up any Rams football karma, let me try again.

The air has now left the balloon,
fans weighed down by mass doom and gloom.
The QB was hurt,
his backups wore skirts,
and could not throw 10 yards on the moon.

The first drive raised hope 'cross the land.
But the coach yelled "Too good!", and went bland.
Predictable passing
caused O-linemen bashing,
with our quarterback running in sand.

But the fans have a reason to cheer.
Kupp's injury better than feared!
So now they can dream
of a D post-Raheem.
And draft higher in hopes for next year.

Born in lust, turn to dust. Born in sin, Come on in.

Just watched Stephen King's Storm of the Century again and from that perspective, it could be worse. Offensive Line is a disaster right now, even the starters like Allen are not playing well. Total reboot for this unit next year, including a new Offensive Line Coach I hope. As to this year, it won't come easy because I don't see the unit improving and now without Kupp and the fact that McVay seems to lost his mojo with apologies to @Mojo Ram the selling one's soul for last years Super Bowl is coming home to roost.
