If JPJ is so great, why did they spend big $$ on Linderbaum?
I think at some point we have to give up on our pre-NFL draft assessment. JPJ hasn't been good with the Raiders which is why they signed Linderbaum.
Besides, JPJ is listed as their starting RG.

I personally wouldn't. I think our OL is in pretty good shape and whatever money left I think could go to other areas. I wouldn't hate it, just wouldn't be my first thought. Cuz if you trade a 2nd, he'll want to get paid too.

Well, worth a shot. Coogan (Indiana) is probably the only center I like in this class.

Hope so, I believe it is crucial to bring back Garoppolo because expecting Stafford to stay healthy for 17 games would not be prudent.
Garoppolo ain't all that. That game he started for us showed what he is now, which is a QB who lives on screens and underneath BS. But it also means teams aren't calling his agent with offers, so you may be correct and he returns to the Rams at their price.
I wouldn't mind seeing Bennett get a shot to compete for the QB2 gig. Let them duel it out in preseason. Bottom line for myself is if we lose Stafford for significant time the season's over, and we might as well lose games given the quality of QB in that '27 draft.
Local media is roasting the shit outta the birds for that move. No reporting yet but it sounds like their attempted talks with Jimmy were, at best, an arrangement to come and compete for the starting job.

I still think there is an outside shot of Murray coming here for a year to learn. I like the idea because its extremely cheap and we will save millions in cap space. I'd be fine with him having to start a game or 2. Is he really worse then Jimmy G? Kyler would have a much better team around him and a much better coach.
Kyler's a better QB than Jimmy. But I doubt the Rams want a team leader who has to have incentives placed in his contract to study film.
He looks to me like a non-fit for McVay.
