Do you think Old-Not-Dead is sitting anxiously at the edge of his seat, just waiting to return to ROD and post ...

Have always been a fan. In his rookie season:
Zero sacks allowed
Zero penalties committed

Rob Havenstein will join my personal list of favorite Ram players.

One play stands out to me:
His return from IR (which has become more common down the stretch) vs the saints. It was inside the 5 yard line. Instead of blocking his man away from the play, he drove the defender towards the runner and would be tacklers and then shoved the entire mass of humanity into the end zone.

If was beautiful.

Eleven seasons ... 148 games AND 148 starts. Durable through his first 9 years.

Solid, consistent starting O-Lineman on a lot of winning teams. As a veteran was a leader / mentor.

Low maintenance and reliable. Never elite, and no Pro Bowls but a Plus-starter game-in / game-out.

Perfect example of a Quality Starter. NEED a bunch of those guys to be a Championship-caliber team, IMO.

A solid Ram starter for a long time, and I sure like that old Rams logo on his shirt ! -- the Fatboy

This is pretty hard evidence he's going to retire or at the very least strongly considering it.

It’s been FAIRLY OBVIOUS!! His post game interview said a lot.

The interviews by his O”Line Teammates in post game really said it ALL IMO !

He knows the Numbers aren’t going to workout for him to comeback as a backup.

What a LEADER taking over for what Big Whit & Sullivan brought to that group.Brian Allen helping out as a coach only keeps some of that alive as well.

Been a great player and leader for this team. He gave his body as well for the team and it's obviously caught up to him. IF he's truly done I wish him the best and will always treat him as one of the all time great Rams players. Hopefully he can stay involved with the team in some fashion post retirement.

Everyone loves Big Hav.

Great pick right from the jump. Ram fans can never thank him enough for all his contributions both on and off the field.

Sad to see this day may come. Always a solid team player and a great Ram representing Jeffrey Michael Fisher’s refrigerators with legs.

I’ve told this story before. My cousin is married to Dante Scarneccia, legendary o-line coach for the Patriots through a bunch of Super Bowls. He retired for a year, the year we drafted Havenstein and Greg Robinson. I took Dante and his son fishing in Montana for a day a got to talk to him all day. I tried not to bug him with football talk but I had to ask about our offense line draft picks.

Dante changed the subject and didn’t say anything about Robinson, but said with Havenstein we had our right tackle set for the next ten years. He was wrong, it was eleven years.
