Quite a few of the guys haven't really played either. All you need is a proper interpretation of the rules and the ability to enforce them consistently. If they can do that, it doesn't matter who they are.
I would add an ability to run/move well enough to he in position to make good calls. Some o these old
guys can barely run.

Think Jenkins has enough babies :D:whistle:
I was thinking him. But I think I would probably go with Chris Long or Tavon. Maybe we should trade for Gronk? Side story: I played against him in high school. He went to Williamsville and I played for the North Tonawanda LumberJacks. Partied with him a couple times. Cool fuckin dude.

First woman ref, sounds great on the surface. But next thing you know, they will start demanding "equality" and half the refs will have to be women, whether they are qualified or not. It happens everywhere, the pressure from the feminists. Just wait, it will happen.

Hochuli is basically immortal, so we should be seeing him for the next 50 years or so.
I thought the same thing about Mike Carey.
I sure do miss him. One of the greatest ever.

This has nothing to do with feminism. If what you say is true then why are there so many professions that are dominated by one sex or the other. Teaching is predominantly female, while engineering is predominantly male. Why aren't all professions forced to be 50/50? Because that's just ridiculous....

They choose who is most qualified for the job.

Never would have guessed Carey is 65, he looks no older than 50.

I've seen a couple of the older guys move.
It's pretty damn funny to see a guy with 4.5 speed running down the sideline and there's an old man keeping up.

Yeah. He looks like he hasn't aged in 25 years.
We need to get him back out there.

Yea. Some of those fogies can really move it.

Though, for the lucky ones, they get to run right in front of a gaggle of smokin' hot cheerleaders. Not only does that get their old libidos firing, they get testosterone increases. (y)

I may have to try it.

It's not sexism It's a 100 percent to do with sport. I have no problem with female refs in male sports that females play.
Which would only make sense if you held men to the same standard. If your point was you only want refs who have played the game that's one thing. But you're okay with male refs with no football background while holding females to a different standard

Why not... an equal opportunity bad call work environment.

Makes sense.

I don't like it. I'm sorry but how can a girl ref something she doesn't play. Imo they should stick to being reporterd

These types of comments kill me bro. My sister is a hardcore feminist and I am not. We strangely agree on things but completely disagree on how to handle them....for example, she believes that society is responsible for comments like you just made, while I tend to think it was an individual's upbringing and their environment.

There are bigots out there, but by and large I think we live in an equal society.

Unfortunately, comments like these prop up and my sister comes across them and then condemns all (white) males because of your comment. You can not like it, but saying "they should stick to being reporters" is about as sexist a comment as you can make.

I'm a feminist, yes...but the only thing that most of us insist upon are equal pay for women, not that half of the refs will have to be female. If there are other qualified female refs out there, then yeah, they should get a shot. If they're not, then they shouldn't. But the one thing that a feminist will always advocate for is equality in monetary value.

If she's qualified to work football games - and from everything I've read about her, she is definitely qualified to do this - then why should there be a problem?

heard Brett Farve's junk is coming out or retirement and already sent her a text
