Sorry for the bump, but whats it like watching the Rams at Phoenix? Any recommendations for bars beforehand?

Just looked it up, can see why it’s called twin peaks. Trust you to come with up with that (I’ll definitely go!).

Sorry I should have been a bit more specific, I have a ticket but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas/recommendations of where would be a good place to have a drink beforehand.

Go to the Westgate Entertainment Center. It's basically attached to the Stadium area. It's a huge outdoor mall with restaurants/bars galore to choose from. Last season a bunch of us went to The Yard House, but as I mentioned, many other places to choose from.

The nice part is that parking is there for the game as well. Then, it's only a 10 minute or less walk to the stadium gates (about 1/2 mile). I think parking was $20 last year.

Go early and get in line a little bit before whatever place you choose to hang out at.

Here's a link to Westgate, which lists all the restaurant/bars.

What he said.

We did that a few years ago and met up with a few other ROD members at the Yard House before the game. @Mojo Ram , @8to12 are the only two members I can remember (and that wasn't because of the liquids consumed!). Had a great time. We wanted to try and meet up with @Karate61 in the recent past but our plans never happened.

So goes life.

That was 2019. We both didn't realize the game was Thanksgiving weekend when we first talked, and you also said something about going to Las Vegas and having to get married that weekend.

I went to visit family for Thanksgiving in Orange County, but left early and went to the Rams vs. Ravens Monday Night game in the Coliseum...the night the Rams got slaughtered. However, I drove back in time to go to the Rams @ Cards that Sunday (12/1), which had a far better Rams result! Was fun catching two Rams games in two different states within 6 days.
