Painful game to watch. There is absolutely 0 way the Rams lose to Washington, at SoFi, with Washington missing their best offensive lineman and their best defensive lineman. It should be the Rams in this Super Bowl from the NFC.:bigcry:

Whatever disease afflicted the Lions last week, it was contagious and afflicted the Commodes this week.

Only part of it.

Opposing defences couldn't stop Barkley. And the refs turned a blind eye to lots of Eagles holding.
The real story is the Eagles are ahead of the curve. This is not a league where defenses are built to stop the run. They're built to stop the pass.

I was telling my son how back in the 80's most teams ran 3-4's with four 250 lb LBs and the DTs were run stuffers first. You didn't have undersized DTs that were drafted to rush the passer. Now defenses are much lighter and pass coverage and pass rush is the goal. So a talent like Barkley is a cheat code in this league right now.

Eagles forced 10 turnovers in the playoffs.

They had 0 turnovers.

That's the story.
There were a ton of Big Plays in the Rams/Eagles Game. Some went for the Rams ... Some against.

Any one of them could have been the difference. That is often the case in a close game.

Forget them ALL. Every last one. Just look at the 3rd down sack by Jalen Carter at the end.

If Limmer or Dotson just put their body in front of Carter on the 3rd-down-sack, they slow him for a second.

Tyler Higee was breaking wide-open over the middle, as the D-Back slipped. It was an easy-pitch and catch for a first down; and, probably a touchdown. Instead the two OL figured the "other guy" would take Jalen Carter, and the Eagles' best defensive player was unblocked.

THAT play would have put the Rams ahead (assuming the XP). Now, Philadelphia would have still had a minute and three timeouts to get into game-winning-FG-range, so a victory was not certain.

All the Big Plays Aside ... THAT ONE PLAYwas Fucking BRUTAL.

It will haunt me ... Just as @Loyal's insistence that pineapple on pizza is a good thing.
