That is actually a pretty new feature. Many of us old timers had a bazillion posts before the like button was added.

The system hasn't been in place since the starting of the site so it isn't really a fair system, whilst it would be awesome to be the 4th most liked I just got lucky in my join date.

Basically. It's how many likes one gets on average per message posted.

Still haven't figured out how NJ is averaging that high. 3 likes for every 4 messages. The dude is popular.

Although R&G brings up a good point. Message counts go back to when someone joined this board. Likes do not necessarily for the long termers, so it brings their numbers down.

2) He keeps it short
3) He is generous liking other posts
4) And most importantly, he cheats his ass off.
