The Rams should be one of the most covered teams in the NFL. But it seems like all we have is MJD, Farr, and JB Long covering on a weekly corporate schedule rather than a good Pod Caster doing weekly or even daily updates. Instead we're stuck listening to Jake ellenbonehead. While I appreciate his fandom he leaves a lot to be desired. Funny enough I was more educated on the rams when they were in STL because they had daily radio shows covering everything Rams.

Locked on Rams is Daily

Not that I am a huge fan or anything but there are two others that show up in my YouTube Feed other than Locked and Jake

None of the regular Rams pods do anything for me, unfortunately. It's really incredible how poorly covered the team is... must be a clicks thing.
Hope this Nate Atkins is good.. and wish there was at least one really good Rams podcast.. even if it was just weekly.

We'd probably lose them all when SoRam is on. The Confusion.

He's definitely no Brock Vierra, thankfully.

On the one hand, this guy is a real deal journalist, not just a content creator. On the other hand, he's dropping in here, seemingly at the last moment, at the start of the season. He did cover the Lions for MLive.com, so, like he said, he's worked with Stafford and thus knows "something" about the Rams - I hope he's a quick learner. He's covered the Bears (2014-2015), Lions (2016-2018) and Colts (2021-present).

One or two of you will probably like his University of Missouri-Columbia background.
Nate Atkins is an accomplished sports journalist and educator, currently serving as an adjunct professor at Butler University since January 2024, teaching sports reporting and writing. Atkins has been the Indianapolis Colts beat reporter for The Indianapolis Star since November 2021, covering a wide range of topics from breaking news to analytical features and event coverage. Previous experience includes adjunct professorship at Taylor University, a sports features writer position at Lansing State Journal, and key roles covering the Detroit Lions and NFL for various media outlets including MLive.com and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. With a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, Atkins brings substantial expertise in sports media and storytelling to both academia and professional reporting.

The Athletic pod covers the entire league but without Jourdan doing hers, they tend to have the best Rams content by far, Robert Mays is very well informed on the team. Check out their NFC West preview for some amazing content.
