The biggest thing that bothers me is the NFL Sunday Ticket used to be the NFL Ticket.

Now, it's Sunday Ticket, plus...

I am with @snackdaddy This all pisses me off. I will never buy Peacock for just the NFL. Amazon and Netflix at least provide other value. Peacock blows.
I need Peacock so I can put The Office on when I need background noise and to cheer up. Peacock is ALWAYS on sale for black friday/cyber monday. I've had it for $0.99/month for years now and just refresh every year. I do the same with Hulu and a few other streaming services that always have big discounts for black friday. Sometimes you have to have a second email address because they won't let you use same one two times in a row... so I just rotate the email I use every year lol.

It's 2026 and people consume media differently. It's not just CBS, NBC, and ABC anymore grandpa. Stop wondering why things can't stay the same and adjust and adapt. I'm 66 and have no problem with how the games are shown. I don't have Netflix anymore but will get another sub so I can watch the game down under. I'm in Apache Junction AZ so I'll need Netflix to get the game. No biggie. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN.

Change doesn't always mean better, especially when you have to get several different services in order to watch your NFL team.
I liked easy, when games were available at one subscription source, and on national TV broadcasts.
I don't have a lawn, so no worries there. :cheers2:

I used AI to help me figure the lowest cost to get every game next season. Ended up advising me to drop YouTube TV and just get NFL Ticket Sling Blue, add ESPN+, keep my current streaming channels and buy a digital antenna (for local games). Saving about $40/mo.

Wife seems ok watching her reality shows a day late on Hulu.

Its funny though, the NFL by far offers the most free content of regular and post season play and yet the small % of games being sent to streaming services has folks losing their minds (exaggeration of course)
There is an expectation when you pay for a service that you get what you pay for. I purchased Sunday Ticket to watch the out of market games. There was no streaming service competition when I originally purchased the service.

Now, not only are there out of market games, there are competing subscription services. Meanwhile, Sunday Ticket prices increase each year for the same supposed service, but less games being broadcast on Sunday NFL Ticket.

Hopefully you empathize with our disappointment and frustration of paying more money for less product and service.

Rumor is we have a Christmas game against the Seahawks that will also be on Netflix. So, a game in September, November, and December on Netflix. Sounds like Rams fans gonna have them Netflix accounts going most of the season.

Edit: also thanksgiving eve really pisses me off if we play the Sunday before. Three day turnaround game against a conference contender? Fuck that.

We're not playing three days before.

Legally, NFL wise, cant hapoen. Written in bylaws. It's either bye or Thursday nighter the previous week. Id call it 98% bye.
That would still suck if they lose the full bye. I really don't like the NFL expanding to another day of the week.

But they'll be getting another (quasi) bye following the Packer game. It is what it is, the business is expanding, and we are one of the top teams and get a lot of the prime time and stand-alone games. Beats the alternative.
