Probably, the most hard to believe part of this tweet is that in year 2028 the Rams still have their 2028 first round draft choice.

Hmmmm, is there a reason to think that Les is done dealing this year? Look at that 2028 pick. Soooooo, I happened to notice that last year, Maxx Crosby played a lot on the left edge (opposite Garrett's side). A 2028 first, Byron Young and spare change for Maxx? Would landing Maxx help entice AD out of retirement? It could be a pretty above average d-line, imo. (Edit: ages are probably closer than you think)

I actually think it's funny because I'm literally just talking about Verse's potential. Rams obviously traded potential for the sure thing HOF'er which is a no-brainer. I honestly think both teams did well in this trade scenario. Unfortunately it's still Cleveland so I feel bad for him there lol

Well there you go again, bending like a bow.Verse doesn’t feel hurt, but more motivated now.He is going to the State he was born(raised) in.
The still in Cleveland is yet to be determined. The hurt is still there from the move. That Ahole GM ruined them from the beginning,at least he F”d the Niners before he got that job.

They can't actually offer that. The 2028 pick has a condition to make it a first. As long as that's possible they can't trade that years 1st rounder.
That can always make a "conditional" trade, by making the condition a conditional first, based on having that pick. They simply assure the other team that they won't lose that first rd pick to Cleveland.

BTW, I wonder if there are wording in the deal that Verse can't be traded to the NFC West? That to me is more likely to happen if their timeline takes longer than expected or if a team innthe west simply blows them away with an offer.

It's really depressing since you can hear the questions from Browns reporters and we still can't hear the questions from Rams reporters.

In this one aspect, the Browns organization is more competent than the Rams.

Lucky for us, we're more competent at everything else.

Still... can anyone at Rams Park spare an extra microphone...? Sheeesh!
