That's a little harsh. I have always been of the opinion you can disagree with someone completely but let's not make fun of the guy for something he truly believes in.
I'm not worried, not his first time saying some douche bag shit. People not agreeing with me saying Verse has a chance is what it is. My stance is its way too early to judge what he'll ultimately end up as.

Anyone on here saying Jared Verse may turn into Myles Garrett is
not grasping what Myles Garrett actually IS ( on level with Aaron Donald, Ray Lewis, Reggie White, Bruce Smith). and that is a knock on their, (independent of the Rams) NFL knowledge.

I would call it disrespectful but I don't think it is. I don't know if some follow the League outside of the Rams that closely and then on top of that they overrate their own players. Saying Jared Verse may become Myles Garrett is actually a little hilarious.
But claiming a rookie that never played down will be the next great QB isn't? Talk about hypocritical beliefs. Even though I disagreed with you on that you, you are entitled to your beliefs. However you really shouldn't go around criticizing people's football intelligence and saying a belief is a knock. That to me is a pretty douchey thing to say, but hey do you.

Hey! You two knock it off! I hate to see two people who so often disagree with my opinion disagree with each other. Shake hands and let's get back to me fighting yous

Sorry man, make a bullshit comment like he did, I'm saying something. That was thrown my way unprovoked. You at least discuss and rebuke respectfully which I have zero issues with.

That's where I say TBD because of the amount of pressures that he's been able to generate in his young career. I'm not saying it'll be easy or that he'll pull it off but he has a good chance as most.
Saying that he has as good a chance as most isn't saying much. He's a better edge rusher than most. But that doesn't mean he has a good chance. It's highly unlikely he's going to suddenly develop the sort of lower-body flexibility he needs to consistently threaten the corner in the NFL. And it's hard to rack up a huge number of sacks winning with power and skill. It takes longer to get those sacks. As I said, I think Verse is perfectly capable of being a great edge rusher. I don't believe he's hit his ceiling. But I don't see him being elite. He doesn't have the full package of tools due to his tightness in the lower body.
That 17 sack average is going up. He did that with a putrid offense with teams running the ball late to close out games.
He will be playing the lead in the 4th quarter and be able to pin his ears back and get the QB. And maybe ............. with AD at his side.
This season is going to be so freaking good.
Its still weird to see Verse and know he is not a Ram. He was the face of the defense. almost larger than life character.
Jared, don't sign your second contract with the Browns. Come HOME and play with Garrett.
Maybe. Maybe not. I certainly will hope that's the case.

And we'll respectfully disagree there for now as I truly do believe it's too early to make any prediction on what Verse may or may not be. However I find the amount of pressures he's gotten on QBs extremely elite and that's rare.

Joe Burrow will be 31. He’s suffered a severe knee injury, a calf, wrist, and severe turf toe as a professional. We’re not giving up three 1sts and Ty for a QB with that injury history.

Depending on Ty’s ability, it could be two or less.
Man at this rate, no 1st rounder should ever get too comfortable with the Rams....crazy at how long they've been at it with using the 1st round pick as a trading tool. Snead is a different breed.

Absolutely.

I love the idea of getting a QB of his caliber but those injuries scare me. It's been like 3 years since he's made it through a season. Will be really interesting if he misses time again this season and what comes of it.

Who's makin fun? Are you gonna say a young hot-shot Defensive Tackle who shines his first 2 years (Jalen Carter, Byron Murphy) may eventually be the next Aaron Donald??? You dont do it.

You JUST. DONT. DO IT.
