Losing Verse hurts. I loved that guy’s attitude.
The Rams know what they need right now, and Garrett is a HOF player in his prime.
Garrett is built like a longevity guy, too. He is a physical freak, but he’s got an A-game on the mental side. He reads what’s going on at the LOS. Lots of guys play later in years with his traits.

I love the trade for what it does for us on the field but it's still sad we lost my favorite personality on the team
If the Rams win one Super Bowl with Garrett and Verse is AllPro five times, I'd still make the trade. But Cleveland is one QB away from making serious noise the next few years.

No Doubt losing Verse hurts not just as a player but , he's one those players that are so likable.
His general vibe attracts people.

I believe it. Our DBs were atrocious. I imagine Verse would have been much more productive with our current DBs

You have to account for stunts and twists where he is being schemed away from easy chips off a standard edge rush. AD obviously played DT, hence why they needed double, triple, quadruple teams on his freak self, haha.

Totally agree. I'm gonna miss that kid heck I believe he would have had a
high teens sack season regardless of our DB's
if he could get a little more body control coming out out of that nasty Bull Rush.
He's still young and will get there.
I expect we'll see him putting up double digit sacks ,even in Brownsville.
