I do not think the ranking is indicative of their current starting lineup. They can get much better in pass pro if they can stay healthy, but they are really better suited for run blocking than pass pro.
The ranking, however, is an indicator of why the offense has been an overall disappointment for 2024. Just too many injures and lineup changes for them to develop consistency.
Tackle has been the biggest problem. Havenstein missed 4 games and three of them were losses. The right side has held up so much better when he has played. Both of Jackson's missed games were losses and his return stabilized the left side. Jackson has still had some untimely breakdowns and has been inconsistent at times. Both backup tackles Noteboom and McClendon have struggled when pressed for extended duty. Accuri was disaster in the opener but asking any third string - practices squad player to try and block Hutchinson is not going to end well.
Avilla has missed 6 games and has looked rusty since he returned. I expect the biggest improvement to come from him as he settles back into the lineup
Logan Bruss started three games, but he was replaced by an undrafted rookie free agent and he's currently not on the team (Claimed by the Titans). He only had one decent game.
The two bright spots to me are Limmer and Dotson. Dotson has been the rock inside but even he had to battle though some injuries early on. Limmer has had some breakdowns but overall, I really like what I have seen from him. I think he has a bright future.
Jonah Jackson has been the biggest disappointment, but injuries have derailed his stint with the Rams. He is much better suited to be a guard than a center.
For an undrafted rookie FA Dedich has shown promise but with his size he is better suited as a backup center.
I think the interior offensive line is set for the future, but the Rams will need to bring in some tackles in 2025.
