Minkah is getting almost as bad of a reputation as that scumbag yesterday in Denver.

Yeah you hate to be "that guy" but it's a natural thought.
I thought Fitzpatrick went for the knee when he did not need to. I think the extreme nature of the injury was because of the timing and the foot was planted just as the knee was hit but I don't think Fitzpatrick needed to go low and shoulder first.

How can that attack on a players leg not result in a catastrophic injury? How is it legal?

Aikman's comment that Kareem Hunt makes a ton of sense for the Browns ... well, it makes a lot of sense.

Yeah there's no need to go low on a guy especially a guy already engaged with another player. Pretty sure that's against the rules

He did not "go for the knee". He went low yes. #55 had his arm so Minkah went low to make him go over. Almost perpendicular to Nick Chubb and his knee smashed into his body as he was going over.

Brutal game. Brutal injury.

Sorry massive disagree here. I'm watching the replay in that tweet I linked. He went low arms in front of him right at the knees. That was not clean. Brutal injury and a dirty hit. There is no need to go at a guys knee when another player is tackling him.

That is unfortunate injury. He's a gamer and this is going to end his season and possibly derail his career.

I just don't see IT with Cleveland or Pittsburgh on offense. The Browns have a legit defense, Pittsburgh has shown flashes. But I don't see anything special with either team especially with Chubb out.

The stealers have a history of attacking a players leg to knock them out of a game. They're dirty as fuck.

I watched it multiple times too. Real time I see him go low at the same time 55 is bringing him down. I didn't think he was being dirty tho. I have to see intent or him launching his whole body. But we'll just agree to disagree here.

No way to know the intention; and Fitzpatrick did go low ... to the knee.

He did..same time as he was being brought down. Don't think he was "going for" the knee.

There is just no need to go low in that situation. And having seen the replay I can't say he went low on accident. He goes low from the get go and there is absolutely no need to do that. I agree can't tell intent from a play but the actions he took are dirty as fuck even if they are by accident. But this is a normally good player and a veteran who should know better than to dive at a guys knee at all especially from the side. It's to me a garbage play that could have been avoided.

Bruh, u might be wearing your black and gold glasses here. Minkah has to be more aware in this situation. That could be a career ender for a damn good player.
