I concur, this trade makes the Packers better right now, Packers were looking to have an edge over other teams in their division and conference and they just got much better over night.
Packers defense is going to help them keep Detroit's point scoring somewhat under control. And it should snuff out the Vikes shitty offense with your boy at QB. They're gonna eat McCarthy's ass at roughly 1.5 seconds on his drop.

I'm so tired of hearing this shit. Nobody says this shit.

It's definitely more often than not, and the 2000 Ravens and 2002 Bucs are exceptions to the rule IMO.

The 70's Rams made me painfully aware of the limitations of having a great D without top notch QB play.
And with further rule changes benefiting the offense, I don't know that you can really win with a mediocre to bad QB and an amazing defense anymore

Two things that almost never work out. Trading your franchise QB and trading your best pass rusher.

McCarthy will be the best QB they’ve had in Minnesota since Francis Asbury Tarkenton.

That's not saying much other than possibly Daunte Culpepper and the one year from Teddy

No - I never thought much of Kirk Cousins. He sucked when it came to crunch time.

Fuckin stupid Jerry Jones making shit harder for the whole NFC. I only like stupid decisions if it really benefits us. Should have traded him to the AFC.

That would be almost impossible because of the Dead-$ cap hits.

It's very difficult to trade players in the 1st or 2nd year of huge contract extensions.
If the Cowboys were to

I agree, the 2 ardent Cowboy fans I do know haven't said shit about the Boys in over 10 years. They accept post season failure before the season even begins. Not a peep out of them. You ask them about Jerry all they say is "fuck him". No more football talk, lol.

Jerry was smart to trade Parsons. He knows he needs a new franchise QB and draft capitol to get it.
He's (Jerry) financially tied to Dak thru '27 due to 2 if not 3 previous restructures to his contract. They are fucking stuck with him. His dead caps hits are approx 180m, 129m, and 56m the next 3 years. His cap hit is 50m, 74m, 68m and 78m the next four years. Daks gonna know what Stafford felt like for all those years he was stuck in Detroit. I'm gonna enjoy watching their demise.

Minnesota has assembled a pretty formidable line. They get Darrisaw back at LT, drafted Donovan Jackson, LG in the 1st round, signed C Ryan Kelly and Will Fries at RG. And return very above average Brian O'Neil at RT. I would love it if this was our line.
